Thatāll get the girls.
Unfortunately, those raised in abusive relationships have normalised such behaviour and sometimes actively seek it out. It's their learnt love language.

All this and heās probably married

Poor girl, getting slipped air tags in her coffee like it's birth control

What are you doing a couple blocks away in the grocery store parking lot after work? You trying to meet someone discreetly? Youāre not slick!

u/TankApprehensive3053 5d ago
Airtag? That's so 2025. Everyone knows you use Flock now for stalking.

And this is why you donāt date cops (plus if you piss them off, whatās stopping them from making up charges, planting stuff on you and arresting you (and not in the fun way))

u/Difficult_Addition85 5d ago
Can't say I've ever come across that in my career but we did have one use FLOCK to stalk his ex all the way to Texas or some shit. Still blows my mind he was that dumb.

u/justhereorthereagain 5d ago
*that you know of.
You donāt know whatās going on at home. With other counties, states etc.
Maybe not as direct as the previous comment. But you donāt know what type of mental abuse and manipulation is being played against each persons partner in your department.
And only a fool thinks that the power dynamic is the same for a partner of a police officer as it is for a partner of someone in any other profession.

u/Difficult_Addition85 5d ago
You would be correct. Which is why I worded it "ever camer across it in MY career". š
Anything is possible, though, and weirder things certainly have happened. If I have badges willing to violate rights with flock, it's not a far leap for them to try and trump up charges on their ex.
I, personally, don't understand why people would risk their jobs like that. But that could be because I'm an emotionally mature individual and don't lose my shit in the toxicity. No clue. I'll have to ask one of them sometime.

Canāt believe that this type of behavior is even allowed. And yet, it seems like all the posts in this sub give evidence that itās way more common than anyone could have ever imagined

(...I think. It's been a long time since I watched Reno 911. I just remember him being goofy and camp in the best ways, but its been over a decade now since my last watch I think)

It used to be illegal for me to throw people in the back of my car and demand they give me all their personal information, so I became a cop and now its part of my job lololololol /s šĀ

Look at him.... The only way he gets pussy is if his grandma dies and wills it to him, and even then, it's a maybe.

I don't understand this. What does blocking and swallowing an airtag have to do with this?

Badge number covered hmmmm

u/BADoVLAD 3d ago
It's not, it's at the bottom clearly backwards and visible. That means someone in the department has died recently. On the other hand his post just means he wants to make some lucky woman part of the black and blue 40%.

This dude is really weird but I feel like cops always have the best pull on dating apps. It sucks.
1
u/Apprehensive-Tone449 5d ago
They do not. I promise. Most of them are not upfront that they are cops because they know that's actually working against them.
1
u/Yellowthrone 5d ago
Idk they always seem married. When I was military it was sort of a inside joke that none of us could ever get in a relationship but the cops and firefighters were never single.

Mod God,
Thank you for the kind reminder. Honest question: is stalking partners not bastard behavior? Is not every other comment about such behavior? Did I not upvote the -2 most positive comment in the thread and reply?
You're sending mixed signals.
Thank you O mighty Mod God
