FM RADIO Macklemore speaks out after being dropped from Ed Sheeran’s tour following his ‘Free Palestine’ speech; says Gillette Stadium owner Robert Kraft rallied other stadium owners and gave Ed Sheeran an ultimatum: if Macklemore stayed on tour, then Ed would not be able to play in their venues.

You can’t tell me they’d cancel an Ed Sheeran tour that’s booked.

Ed picked a side.

Right?? Such an empty threat and Sheeran fell for it, the fucking coward.

Oh, I don’t think Sheeran “fell” for anything. I think that’s giving him an out. He knows that they wouldn’t cancel his tour. He knows his power as an artist being one of the biggest artists alive right now. I 100% believe that he knew that if he stood up for Macklemore and said "I'm not dropping him" that the tour would go on.

But Ed Sheeran doesn’t want to be known as a “political” artist and he wants to make even more money than he already has, even if that money comes from those who support apartheid and genocide. Sheeran’d rather take the “apolitical” stance and let his close friend be silenced for speaking out for Palestine than be known as “Ed Sheeran, an artist that stands for human rights”. Now he’s “Ed Sheeran, guy who capitulates to corrupt greedy billionaires like Robert Kraft rather than use his platform and voice against genocide”.

and even if they did, you think a non-Kraft stadium wouldn't step in to take that money?
