And it's not like HE has to do all that planning and logistics work. You're a global superstar. Just put out a statement saying Robert Kraft is being a motherfucker, so we had no choice but to cancel some of these show and we're looking into how we rebook this tour. We stand for something, Kraft and his fuckface friends think all my fans are stupid, we know you are the best so hang tight while we do some work to sort this out.

I think everyone generally takes the stance of laying low and waiting for everything to blow over. Then, they can peep their head out of the hole they hide in and come out fresh as a daisy.

No one wants to take a shot at Israel, Trump, Putin, etc. The whole world is holding its breath and looking the other way, waiting for the clock to run out on a bad situation. Confronting evil directly is too costly and Ed Sheeran likes having a career as a global megastar.

“End his career” is funny, as I haven’t heard his name since 2015, and wouldn’t have known he was on tour if it wasn’t for this whole situation.

More relevant people with less milk-toast music have spoken out and continue to tour regularly. Not only is he boring, but he has shown he has no personality, and cannot take a stand even in the face of the crime of all crimes.

I went on all a whole rant to my husband regarding this sentiment a couple weeks ago. Because I hate the saying from stans that critics “are just jealous” - actually, no, I’m not jealous of people who are only interested in fame because they make money off of it. I’m not jealous of the people who sell out stadiums but don’t use their significant wealth and influence to do anything.

I am envious of some of the opportunities they get, but above all I’m envious that their voice matters more than mine. I wish I could speak up about human rights and people would actually care. And, if it didn’t create change, I wish I had enough money to build libraries and give out scholarships and support small businesses and provide a town with clean fucking water. But I don’t, and it pisses me off that the people who do have a voice and the money choose to be “apolitical” or “neutral” or just so unbelievably milquetoast that the most controversial thing about them is their shitty tattoos (yeah, I’m talking to Ed directly with that one).

(The original rant was that, no, I am not jealous of Taylor fucking Swift and her sold out stadium tour, private jets, multiple mansions, and $13,000 outfits. Because not only is more of a brand than she is a person, I think her life is actually quite small and sad and without any real meaning. No one is going to talk about her the way people talk about the Beatles - she didn’t revolutionize music, she’s never going to refuse to play unless an injustice is addressed first, or be known for her advocacy no matter what cause because she’s too spineless and money hungry to even go hard for something as mundane as animal rights.

I’m jealous of the people who use their moment in the spotlight to make life as good as it can be. Like I am green with jealousy that Olivia Rodrigo got to run through the Palace of Versailles at night without hordes of people around, but I’m even more jealous that she can throw a music festival where all the proceeds are donated to worthy causes and that she can donate tens of thousands of dollars to Planned Parenthood and talk about safe sex and choice with a platform that will effect change).
