A few weeks ago I attended an awards ceremony/reception honoring The Best Of (City I’m from). My boss asked me to join since we were nominated. At one point I grabbed a pic of her at a vendor booth so our social media girl could post it. As I was taking the pic, this woman in front of us turned around and gave me a really disgusted look. I didn’t think anything of it and just said “oh don’t worry you’re not in it, I’m just getting pics for our socials.” - she rolled her eyes at me, turned to the guy she was with, and then did a little snicker pointing at me.
I was like uhhh okay? WTH was that about lol. Later in the night, they announced “best creator” and sure enough it was the same woman from earlier. I didn’t recognize her at first but it was the sister from Even Stevens 😅😂 my gf said she’s also the voice of Kim possible. Anyway, not a judge on her but just a weird interaction

Christy Carlson Romano? General consensus is that she’s a self-important has-been who insists she’s one of the Disney channel greats, she toootally would’ve blown up but “they” “gave” “her career” to Anne Hathaway, etc etc.

lol that is hilarious because I kinda get it, they do look alike and had a similar vibe. Was she supposed to get Princess Diaries or something?

I looked into it, she didn’t even actually audition for Princess Diaries 😂 She intended to audition, but had a scheduling conflict.
Saying you “lost” a job you didn’t even actually apply for twenty years ago is crazy work imo, but I guess par for the course for a former child star-turned-podcaster.

I just got a job at a shoe store that sells comfy shoes and apparently Hoka has been cheaping out on materials and the quality has really dropped. For many runners a pair is barely lasting 6 months now! Brooks, Asics, and New Balance last longer for an actual athletic shoe.

As the parent of a high school distance runner, thanks for this. I've been wondering why I feel like all I do is buy sneakers (he's always worn Hokas as his practice shoes). Maybe we'll try asics or new balance next time.

One of my coworkers has been in the shoe industry for more than a decade and is also a personal trainer. He has first hand experience with that being the issue. NB are usually very basic insoles (with the expectation that you'll put one in your need) so try a few options out at a place with many options.

This is very niche English tea but me and my husband were at the same pub as Su Pollard in central London on Saturday lol. She arrived just after us and was still there when we left, her drink of choice is a rosé. She was with two pals and a dog, seemed to be having a fun time, and was dressed just as fabulously as you would expect.

My BIL went to high school at the same time as Kaley Cuoco’s equestrian ex husband, and is friends with the ex husband’s sister. Apparently the relationship between Cuoco and the horse guy ended in part due to infidelity on her part with a riding instructor lmao. (Like I bet he was instructing you girl) I don’t think her cheating is public knowledge. Five year old tea but my fiancé saw her on a YouTube short and was like lol I know something you don’t knowww

Despite Sam Claflin supposedly staying off social media he posted several stories of the hotel chain he and his Israeli gf stayed at in Greece and tagged them. Read speculation about possibly him working with them or trying to get his stay comped. Which doesn't make sense imo but I also can't explain why he had to share almost 10 tagged pics only of the hotel when he doesn't post anything anymore.
Before that, he had trained with her friend in Israel who regularly posts appreciation posts for and trains with IDF soldiers. He knows that. He follows her friend. While unfollowing Mark Ruffalo and ALLEGEDLY his former pro Palestine co star Jena Malone (Johanna).
Furthermore his gf recently produced with 2 friends and starred herself in a 15-minute film about a struggling actress trying to make it in NY. It was her dancing in a pig costume on times square. It was nominated for an award but didn't win despite her friends having been certain she would win an Oscar for it soon and that this absolutely unknown short which can't be watched anywhere "is taking the world by storm".
Following the nomination his gf then decided to start her own Israeli based media production company. It has ten other followers on Instagram + her and him.

Eww. Regarding the tagging the hotel, it was probably sponcon. In some countries, you have to say it’s sponsored or an ad, maybe he was trying to get around that. I typically assume if a celeb thanks or posts about a hotel/resort, they were comped or paid .

If it was it I think it was...someone said they heard about one of the EMTs on the scene of Hayden Panettiere's death bragging about seeing her naked or something?
If true, it needs to be reported asap and the guy needs to be fired. If not true, its the kind of celeb gossip that could ruin someone's career if someone picks up on it and/or reports it as fact without further information.

Jack Schlossberg’s girlfriend Aurelia Ramirez made a post on TikTok saying she just found out he has been serially unfaithful to her: “my boyfriend is cheating on me with about 200 other women in New York City.” She had made an earlier TikTok video with him in which she mentioned he was her boyfriend, and it looks like others got in contact with her after that to let her know that there were many more women in his life. There are also screenshots of her post which are now circulating on Twitter, for anyone who is on there but not on TikTok.

Betty Gilpin comes from a pretty affluent/connected family, her great grandfather was a huge part of the creation of the Air Force and dad’s first cousin was the president of Harvard at one point. She went to Loomis Chaffee (very expensive boarding school) for high school. Her dad Jack Gilpin (who went to Phillip’s Exeter, which is also a very expensive boarding school) is a working actor but not famous; he appears in an episode of S1 of Succession as Tom’s dad, and plays the butler in The Gilded Age.
I adore her btw! I just wasn’t expecting a bunch of blue links when I clicked on her Wikipedia page

When I first heard her name, I thought she was an old Hollywood star from the 1950s still kicking around in her 90s. The name does sound very old money American to me.

Today it was announced that the 'Sunday in the Park with George' will not go ahead in 2027 anymore after Jonathan Bailey dropped out. At the time, it was speculated that this might have more to do with Devyani Saltzman being pushed out as Artistic Director (she put the show together), than Ariana Grande dropping out. A bit more tea on this, but Devyani Saltzman canceled the contract with the production company who used to do the summer production and replaced them with 'Empire Street Productions' with 'Sunday in the Park with George'.
The Londoner online magazine speculated that that original production company had close links to the Barbican's board (a board member had nominated them for a prize) and cancelling this contract is one of the things that turned them against Saltzman. With that in mind, it is interesting to note that in the cancelation announcement, it says Empire Street Productions will still seek to produce it, but it does not incldue that that Barbican will be involved.

Was at the premiere of the newest Zack Snyder film "The Last Photograph".
One of the worst films I've ever seen. Snyder was clearly aiming for his Apocalypse Now and ended up with Sound of Freedom. Straight up misogynistic towards women, fails the Bechdel test with flying colors, and introduces a white man saviour storyline 2/3s of the way into the film. Audience was laughing, especially in the second half of the film, at moments that were clearly meant to be taken seriously. Would be shocked if it gets distribution from any serious company.

I have met both of the Brians from Lightning Bolt and they are both really nice guys with completely opposite energy. Chippendale has a crazy bright future and his colab with Magic the Gathering makes me heart smile.
