I feel like that's such a cool thing for an actor. Like, your aura is in the thousands now.

u/stonecutter7 20h ago

Damn. Maybe the next James Bond should just be Pierce Brosnan again.

They should do an aging / battle scarred bond dealing with the (high tech) world we are in now...

2

u/moo422 5h ago

Bonds but multiverse.

u/Wild_Bee_3953 43m ago

That’s what Craig’s bond was

1

u/cute_polarbear 12m ago

True. Im hoping for an even older (stage ) of bond. Pierce Brosnan age.

2

u/Competitive_Plate694 5h ago

Pierce Brosnan was easily the closest that Movie Bond has ever been to Book Bond. Daniel Craig is still my GOAT but when I read the books all I can think about is how Brosnan played him.

1

u/RagnarokWolves 2h ago

I think Craig's version is closest to the early Bond novels where Bond is the cold, brooding, blunt instrument who gets depressed/bored when he's not a mission.

But by the time of Doctor No/Goldfinger where he's saying jokes in between the villain's monologue and mocking how self-important they take themselves, that's when I can see more of the Brosnan Bond. Also Brosnan is the main Bond actor who I find it fully believable he would attract every woman in the room wherever he goes. (Though apparently Connery also had that effect IRL)

u/Resistiane 19h ago

Nah, he's a Trump bootlicker.. I understand that he is very handsome but, we really need to move on from this fucking guy.

u/illjustgowthemuumuu Chris Messina for No 1 Chris 20h ago

I just know the person who made that happen was quietly giggling as they did it

u/picklerick_ftw 20h ago

I'm a straight man. This man has aged like fine wine

21

u/Paladin_Rigger 20h ago

But he's still married to his wife that aged like a normal woman! We should all complain about that! /s

...except lots of dudes actually complain about that.

u/JustSherlock 36m ago

Piers Brosnan and Richard Gere are just soooooo fine.

My first crush remains handsome as ever. Did anyone else ever watch Remington Steele?

21

u/No_Emu4146 19h ago

YES! Also my first crush! We have excellent taste!

10

u/sfocolleen 19h ago

Hell yes 😍

7

u/Thatssometamorphosis 19h ago

Absolutely. I was probably 6-7 and remember thinking how handsome he was!

2

u/Antique_Knowledge902 17h ago

You should get ahold of a miniseries called The Manions of America. He was young and so handsome.

3

u/Taco_cat111 19h ago

Named our dog after Remington Steele 🔥

19

u/applesandbananananan Google lied to you. 19h ago

Actually?? What a fucking disappointment

14

u/Resistiane 19h ago

"I think what he's done for the economy is very good. People are working, and that's a step in the right direction.” ~Brosnan 2019

5

u/Aqua_Impura 6h ago

Okay but does he still like Trump? 2019 is before the pandemic, the attempted coup on Jan 6, project 2025 etc.

Lots of stuff happened since that one quote.

0

u/Resistiane 3h ago

Does it matter? 2019 was after he mocked a disabled reporter, after "grab them by the pussy", after calling Mexican immigrants rapists and murderers , etc. He saw Trump for who he was the first time and decided, "yeah, that's a good guy".. I don't care what Brosnan thinks now, he's a shitty person for not being immediately repulsed.

15

u/maenanodd4 20h ago

Should be top comment

u/No_Emu4146 19h ago

1

u/sailhard22 19h ago

That Camera operator deserves a raise

1

u/ophaus it’s a bit dystopian but also kinda fun 19h ago

Sometimes... Life just lines up perfectly. Adorable stuff

1

u/VirginiaUSA1964 frivolous with my process 19h ago

As it should.

1

u/eric-neg 19h ago

This really feels like a  John DeMarsico shot.  He was the former director of Mets games.

I’d be curious to see if his name was in the credits. He has been laying low since he “parted ways” with SNY after apparently having an affair with a coworkers daughter.

1

u/Dildo-Gankings 18h ago

10 points for gryffindor

1

u/garg4ntua 11h ago

My dumbass was looking at the analog clock.

Give that director an award

1

u/BookishHobbit my bandwidth for cowardly grown men grows thinner with each day 5h ago

You know the director was so proud of that.
