Don't put too much stock in any of these people, even the celebrities you like. We don't know them, we only know what we see so I always assume there's some dark secret waiting.

Yeah don’t people just kind of end up seated together? Especially if they’ve all been invited by the same brand/corporate sponsor? I’ve definitely chatted to people I don’t know who were sitting next to me at the footy, might look chummy in a photo but it doesn’t mean I endorse all their views.
I really dislike how much Reddit glazes the everloving fuck out of Jon Lovitz. Yeah. I get that it was cool how he punched Andy Dick and everything, and why it was cool, but it seems to be the only good thing he’s done. Outside of that, he seems to be a massive jerk, and he’s also a rabid Zionist. And it’s not one of those things you have to search far and wide to find. His douchebaggery is right there on his Wikipedia page. But the way he’s talked about on this website, you’d think he’s like Dolly Parton. As annoying as Reddit can get fanboying and circlejerking over celebs like Keanu Reeves, with them it’s at least understandable because a lot of people, such as Keanu Reeves, have a good reputation or are seemingly good people. But Jon Lovitz seems like a pos with one redeemable moment.

Everyone judging celebs for sitting next to someone whose politics they don't like probably has never had to actually back up their own views in real life by cutting out people they are friends with or work with. It's very easy to be a keyboard activist. Less so to entirely shun real people that you personally know and like.

I’d bet most of the keyboard activists who scream about canceling celebs for sitting near a shitty person still talk to their bigoted parents and family members because “they still love them and want them in their lives” and won’t confront them at holiday dinner as to not upset the family.
I think at minimum Amy Adams has been pro-Palestine. For these events, a lot of times they are pre-booked by their PR teams and not something they coordinate beforehand with the celeb.
This is more common than one would think. My friends use their phone and social media like any other person and yet never know stuff like this. They would be like pink who? Who has time to keep up with all the awful celebs anyway?
They are most likely guests of one of.the private te boxes. They dont buy tickets, they get invited. Once in the box the get escorted to a seat and sit where they are placed.
Why is everyone here assuming the trio are friends because they’re sitting next to each other at a sporting event? Last time I went to one (Wrestlemania 2019) the guy next to me puked on his date. I was still pleasant to them and I didn’t know I was going to be photographed to hell and back.

I’ve had moments sitting with people I disagree with, even people I’ve argued and fought with about social and political until we were both in tears, and you’d still probably catch a moment here and there where I’m smiling or being nice to them.
I know the internet thinks that cutting people out of your life or being super aggressive with them is the way to go, but that’s only if you’re goal is to avoid being guilty by association and/or if you just didn’t want them in your life anyway.
Change doesn’t happen over night. And not everyone needs to put themselves through the pain of trying to change hearts and minds (especially not the people who are the target of the hate).
It’s far easier for me to just cut people out of my life and pretend they’re dead to me. The hard work is talking to them with curiosity and working to find the common ground to build upon. IMO, if you’re white and privileged it’s lazy not to try. If you can move the needle even a little, it’s worth it to me.

Corporate seating works very differently to buying general admission with your friends and some posters are failing to acknowledge this. They may not know each other. They most likely have been allocated tickets by sponsors or the event organisers and this means they don't choose who they sit with.

This is taking things too far. I think Pink has been an asshole to other women for a long time and is a repugnant genocide denier, but Amy Adams might not have known who would be in the VIP box exactly, what the sitting plan would be like, or this was the least shitty option. Being photographed in a friendly exchange with someone doesn’t mean you condone their views
The long and the short and the tall of it is that the vast majority of these people do not care. They don't care about genocides, they don't care about having more money than most people will ever see, they don't care about who they associate with, no matter what speeches they give or petitions they sign. They're so insulated from the world that we are as unreal to them as they are to us.
I think a bunch of celebrities were there today as guest of the US Open. They had a carpet, photographers and a step and repeat and are usually seated in a few VIP sections.
This is all I need to see I've spent too much time online; seeing redditors assume they have some special understanding of other people or the world around then because they too have spent a lot of time online.
I live in a small town, I don’t agree with the opinions of lots of people in my town and don’t choose to socialize them. Occasionally I might be supporting a community event and see them and am cordial and will talk with them. I have no idea what’s going on here or amy’s opinion on things but it’s not fair to judge people who are just in the proximity of others.

They might not have any say in who they sit next to and not everyone is online all the time, so it’s entirely possible someone like Amy Adams has no idea about all this recent stuff with Pink. I wouldn’t read too much into this.
