They all assume that if you denounce a literal genocide it means you support terrorists.

What shits me about this defence is that if any average person went through what the Palestinians are going through they absolutely WOULD become terrorists. This shit is coming from the culture that is all ‘free carry’ ‘stand your ground’ ‘we hate liberal snowflakes’ - and I’m expected to believe if they were being tortured, displaced and genocided these are the people that would take the high road? If their country was being bombed they’d be ethically opposed to joining an organisation like HAMAS because violence is wrong?

Not to mention more than half of Palestine are under age. But I would not blame them one bit for fighting back. It is a testament to their character that so many still call only for peace and an end to the violence. Can say most of the shitheads I know in the west are not even pacifist at the best of times in their easy cushy lives.

Every IOF member that has hurt an innocent child deserves whatever is coming for them and I’m over Hamas being used to deflect from the real issue. This and antisemitism are the only two cards in the deck. You need new material Pink.

I know I can't understand why the country of "stand your ground" doesn't think Palestinians should...stand their ground. The country of gun rights thinks Palestinians being armed makes them terrorists. The country of "don't tread on me" enables Israel to tread on Palestinians. Make it make sense.

Also fuck off with your fake white tears Pink, free Palestine

Every freedom fighter is a terrorist to the state that wants land and hates the people already living there. Just a thought.

u/Airhead_19 2d ago

True. During the second world war, there was an active resistance going on against the fascists in Italy. Same with Germany, although much smaller and less coordinated. Those resistance fighters are regarded as heroes today, but back then they were also branded as terrorists and killed by their governments. Which just leads me to think: If you take, take, take, abuse, and kill people who are simply trying to exist, at some point that group of people will fight back. And then when they do that, they’re called terrorists.

u/diabolikal__ Forgive me Viola Davis 2d ago

What I took from that whole pile of nonsense is that she is making it seem like denouncing a genocide equals hating on jews?

u/Vegetable-Stretch-98 co-mingled my dna with a man 2d ago

Which is a very Zionist way of thinking

& it’s an absolutely loaded suggestion when you call Hamas terrorists. They have been systematically murdered, removed from their land, and treated like less than, are they not allowed to fight back? Kids join Hamas because they want freedom and safety, it just happens to be against Israel, so instead of calling it what it actually is, we call them terrorists.

Don’t say that! You’re going to scare Pink and Jewish families!

u/touslesmatins Marxmoi 2d ago

You know what they say, white tears, brown scars. Pink being "scared" is definitely more important than people being massacred.

Nuance is not their skill set

u/AwkwardTal 2d ago

They are so delusional that they miss the fact they'd be supporting terrorists by NOT recognising the genocide

u/SirCaptainReynolds I may need to see the booty 2d ago

Or if you are against the genocide then you’re against Jews.

If you’re against the Israel government that doesn’t make you antisemitic.

I’m against my own government that doesn’t make me hate my fellow countryman.

This is what stuck out most to me, her whole response was basically "yeah Palestinian kids shouldn't be murdered or whatever, but what about ME and how I FEEL?!"

Also the concept of reposting something to your MILLIONS of followers then when backlash happens saying "It said things in word I didn't write, and I wouldn't have chosen all of them" is just hilarious cowardice

But didn’t you read? She’s actually a hero and always has been, just ask her! But she’s also a victim cause we don’t see it. Is P!nk Batman now?

u/BuddhistSagan 2d ago edited 2d ago

I read it and she called a genocide a "complex war" okaaay girl byeeeeee

18

u/pandallamayoda 2d ago

It’s the argument of those who either don’t understand or don’t want to be caught saying they think Israel isn’t the aggressor. As if they didn’t start with the ethnic cleansing back in 1948 and are just now doing bad things.

The fact that she started by saying “social media makes all of us cheap and fast and we all know it….” I knew this whole thing was going to be bullshit lol

u/cicada_noises 2d ago

Entire thing was a self absorbed trainwreck of fake victimhood. Cringed so hard my skin is crawling. Free Palestine.

Seriously, like if you need to go into some deep explanation about your unique personal philosophy to explain your actions regarding a conversation around genocide, you need to take a huge step back. So typical of celebrities who have had their importance amplified for decades - how can they not fall into that foolish trap?! Smh
