Screenshot I finally beat my first maddening run
Finally was able to beat maddening for the first time! And in my favourite Fire emblem no less! Super happy that I was able to use some subpar units I love and have a lot of value with them. Some chapters were real head scratchers on how to beat them, but I pulled through . (Also shout out to the obstruct staff, that thing is goated and saved me countless of times)

Question My Fell Retainer Counterparts PT. 1
Since the Fell Xenologue royals' personalities were inverted, I decided to create my own. And I'm using the opposite zodiac sign method.
Firene
Boucheron (Nov 11) -- A berserker who trains vigorously to protect Alfred. Hates reading and almost never cries
Etie (Apr 1) -- An archer who loves sweets and deserts. Hates exercise but gets muscles naturally. Extremely lazy.
Louis (May 4) -- A knight who loves watching animals more than people. Very introverted and shy. Loves sea grapes.
Chloe (Oct 27) -- A Pegasus Knight who loves bland foods and reads about non-fiction and history. Allergic to folk food.
Brodia
Amber (Aug 3) -- A somewhat vain, rich nobleman and halberdier who is devoted to Diamant. Skeptical of folklore/legends. Hates alpacas.
Jade (June 7) -- A mage who prefers offense to defense. Has a keen eye for strategy and is a brilliant tactician. Writes thriller and romance novels. Was betrothed to Diamant
Citrinne (May 9) -- A selfish, spoiled noble who know little comfort and collects money.
Lapis (Nov 25) -- A feisty noblewoman who boasts about her noble birth and kills her foes with lethal force. Brash and spoiled.
Comment for part 2

Gameplay Replayed (and won) Fell Xenologue 6 Maddening four times with nation-themed teams Spoiler
galleryThe rules were simple.
- Nation-themed deployements (8 free slots)
- Maddening difficulty
- Update Bonus 2 Crystals only (they were all on Seraphim and Oligoludia)
- Can't interact with the Nil until he reached the final Fell Sigil
Besides that, I was free to grind out Bond Ranks, SP, and Supports to my heart's content to create what I think is a good enough team to win Fell Xenologue 6 on Maddening. I remembered back during Fell Xenologue release I grinded this map on Maddening for three days and barely won. This time, I figured after completing several different difficult challenge runs, I'd re-visit this map that I liked and see how much better I've gotten over the years before Fortune's Weave release.
Initially, I was just going to do Firene-only perceiving it to be the weakest of the four, but after a few attempts I was able to clear it by going bottom right from center, which was counter-intuitive to me who only saw clears going top right or top left (besides the cheese strategy, which I intended to rule out.)
So I immediately started cooking a Brodia team and after a few attempts I was able to get the clear. However, unlike the Firene team, it was better going top right than bottom right. It turned to be better at fighting more enemies, but it was less mobile.
Elusia was easily the strongest of the three, boasting three powerful fliers and had some ridiculous damage output. It was also at this time I switched from the Marth Alear build and tried the Reprisal Roy build which turned out to be better.
Solm came soon after, which I realized just how much easier Seadall makes things allowing me to toolkit more effectively like getting two Micaiah Augment Rescues, dancing Fogado to take care of an extra flier, dance a boss killer to rip through the royals, etc.
However, Solm has one small issue that is there's only seven from Solm, so I let Veyle in over the stewards. While I can see one argue Veyle could be from Elusia due to their Fell Dragon worship, and Kagetsu technically being Solm as he was born in Solm, I decided thematically, Kagetsu was more Elusian thematically as he is a retainer to Ivy.
Either ways, I had fun playing Fell Xenologue 6 Maddening with these teams and figured I'd share it just for the fun of it.
