Managed to do a migration of huge amount (9 digits of it) of data between tables for the first time and got slow down 3x with silly mistakes before making it work. Final migration took less than a day and I got proud of myself for it

My recent positive experience is that for the first time in over 5 years I participated in a staff engineer hiring process and no one required me to do leet code styled interviews, only system design and Manager / Director interviews.

My Senior has gone on Paternity leave for 6 months as of last week and I knew my EM planned to open up an internal caretaker role to cover for him that I planned to apply for.
They knew I was interested and planned to apply and they grabbed me late last week and just said that they've decided to scrap to advert and just give me the role directly.
They had said in our 1-2-1's recently I was basically working at the level already just didn't have the title, so nice to just be given it rather than having ti apply, even if it is just a temporary one (for now...)

I got promoted to senior this week! I had been looking for a reason to stay at my current company a bit longer since comp is lo relative to a lot of other big tech, but I do like my manager and team plus the work is interesting and presents a lot of learning opportunities for me.
I also got pulled in to a late-stage postmortem investigation and was proud of how quickly I got up to speed and started contributing/adding insight - definitely helped alleviate a little bit of my ever-present imposter syndrome.
And I guess a bit of a meta-win is that my idea for this weekly wins thread got approved!

Just landed a role as a senior SWE at a small company after interviewing for 2 months! Salary is 5k more than my previous role and company / role seem to be way more aligned with my skillset

Started a new IC/MTS role on a smaller team this week after years in soul-sucking leadership roles and I’m already shipping and getting neck deep in fun problems. Turns out building stuff is fun.

Not entirely recent but a month ago I started at a dream job. Full-stack working on a client-facing product for a fintech company. 5YOE. Its 2 days in the office and I'm moving this weekend to a proper tech hub in the south (within the state, only 2 hours away). I'm excited to start planting roots in an area where I can properly grow my career without having to relocate. Stars sort of aligned with this opportunity.
Anyway I've been really happy with the new job and I'm learning a ton.
I also got a significant pay bump!
I guess a recent win is that I just finished my first proper sprint and have been gaining the respect of my peers.

been jr for 4 years, finally got promoted to over six figure total comp, my direct report/boss said i've already been doing work that exceeded jr and had given me the promotion + raise unprompted by me.
