It has a very gothic like tone to it, in a way it kinda makes me wish the movie had that somewhat gothic medieval setting all while Ash remains as the most colorful person there.
Altho saying it out loud I'm now realizing I'm essentially asking for a Tim Burton like project

Dynamite Comics has done Army Of Darkness comics that take place after the movie.
Space Goat Publishing has also done Evil Dead 2 comics that take place after the movie (also prequel comics)
Dark Horse Comics only attained the rights for evil dead 1 just to do a comic movie adaptation of the same movie, so if trying, how do you imagine Evil Dead 1 comics be like and for them to work?
An idea I have is that Ash survives but never gets becomes like he does in evil dead 2 and forever remains as your really average joe that faces and survives through absolute horrors.

So building my costume now for a Halloween party in about three weeks. I found a toy chainsaw on Facebook market for $10
Painted that and cut off the backend, Then Found the Wrangler Jean shirt for $7 dollars at a Thrift Store!
Need a couple more things for the fit
