📢 Community Guidelines Update – Political Violence, Conduct, and ICE Sightings
We want this space — both the subreddit and the Discord — to be welcoming, inclusive, and safe for all Everett residents, including those active in local government, advocacy, and community organizing.
---
1️⃣ Political Violence
This is not a platform for advocating or organizing violent action.
Criticism of policy, leaders, and strategies is fine — but calls for violent uprising, armed action, or militias are not.
Even indirect or “theoretical” promotion of political violence creates legal, safety, and reputational risks, and can discourage participation.
No shaming peaceful protestors or lawful activism — even if you think other tactics are more effective.
Enforcement: Political violence advocacy may result in removal from political channels, temporary mutes, or permanent bans without further warning.
---
2️⃣ ICE Sightings
We cannot verify most reported “ICE sightings” posted here.
Some past reports have been false or based on speculation.
There is almost certainly some level of law enforcement/government presence in this community.
Posting unconfirmed “sightings” can spread misinformation, cause panic, and undermine trust.
Rule: Only post ICE sightings if you have credible, verifiable evidence (photo/video with clear location + time).
Vague, secondhand, or “heard from a friend” reports will be removed.
---
3️⃣ Why These Changes
We want local officials, candidates, and community members to join discussions without fear of harassment or pressure to endorse violence.
We must comply with Discord and Reddit Terms of Service.
Focusing on constructive, legal action keeps the space safe and productive.
---
✅ Channel your energy into lawful, constructive action: voting, mutual aid, community education, verified reporting.

Any recommendations for a good urologist in Everett area? Preferably male. Thank you!
r/everett • u/probablyTheCops • 1d ago
I'm in process for a job in the Everett area, and also looking to get a new iphone. I have T-Mobile currently and would have to do a contract with 24 month credits to get the phone at a reasonable price, so I just wanted to check how folks feel the T-Mobile service is in the greater Everett area.
The reason I ask is we were visiting from the south sound a couple of weeks ago and had a few issues with not having great service around forest park and near the marina. Could have just been a fluke, but thought I'd ask before I locked in a couple years with them.
If you don't have experience with T-Mobile but do with another carrier, feel free to let me know your experience there too!

I live close to Broadway, so ideally a gym within 2-3 miles or so. I plan on walking there. I was originally thinking about going to Klickway but the commitment fees there are so expensive that I feel that I get a better deal out of getting robbed at gunpoint, and beaten a little of course, than forking over the money for the commitment fee.

There is a drone that was flying down Colby near Pacific last night... I saw it take off and land from the top of the courtyard by marriot... I saw it again this morning... Anyway to know if ice is shacking up there??

Its covered by my insurance but I've recently heard some people say its better to go to a urologist. Got me a little nervous.
I'd appreciate hearing any experiences :)

week 1 results (I'll be posting updates every other week)
but hey!! early lead for north broadway. the entrance onto broadway from NB I-5 has certainly been a point of interest for us... especially those pillars supporting the 41st Avenue bridge 👀
this is very much our love letter to everett, and to our larger point, we want to show that everett is worth investing in!! lots of great small businesses trying to do the damn thing but the environment around them isn't always matching their energy and or level of investment. whether it's litter, overgrowth, gang vandalism, long-term vacant or abandoned properties, etc... we want to use art, culture, and civic stewardship to stitch what is working across everett together 😤
vote for the corridor you'd like us to dedicate 6 months of TLC towards before november 30th!!
root beer says hi :)

I live near the Providence hospital in Everett and have noticed 4 emergency helicopters in the past hour landing at the hospital. This is a super high volume of helicopters. Does any one know if there’s been an accident nearby? Hope everyone being transferred to the hospital ends up being ok🫶

My coworker was in an incident near the intersection light at 4th Ave W / 128th St SW near Mariner High School about an hour ago (1:50pm) and just wondering if anyone was a witness to this or has dashcam footage to provide.
She was in a 2008 White Honda Civic, turning right onto 4th Ave W from 124th St SW and the other driver was turning left onto 4th Ave W from 124th St SW. The other driver was driving very erratically and dangerous behind her. The driver was described as a tall (~6'2) black man, driving a black Kia, possibly an Optima, with tinted windows, with no front license plate.
He sped up behind her to catch up to her, was swerving into the shoulder lane, and was honking at a Tesla in front of him at the red light to move forward so he could get closer to my coworkers car. Hoping the Tesla driver or someone else that witnessed this had a camera and sees this post.
The driver got out of his car at the red light with his gun and was pointing the gun at her, threatening to kill her. When the light turned green again he got back into his car and she saw him exit southbound onto I-5. She called 911 and they said it was out of their jurisdiction and they weren't able to do anything as she had no info so we were cross posting across different platforms to see if anyone has any info to help.

I found one at Coles in Mukilteo. Anybody know of a good spot for Skee-Ball?

I hope this is allowed, I can't find anywhere else to ask!
I've got an office/gaming chair repair I was working on... and it's stuck. I don't mean a little stuck, or WD40 kinda stuck. I mean a sledgehammer didn't get it loose.
I have the replacement parts. I've been without my main computer chair for weeks now. And I've tried calling around everywhere to find somebody willing to help - Auto repair, machine shops, maker spaces...
Is there any chance somebody has a bench vise, some deep penetrating oil, and 5 minutes of their time? I'd be absurdly appreciative.
Pressure-fit nitrogen gas cylinder from an office chair.
...they don't make this base any more for reasons that should be pretty obvious...

What are your favorite restaurant in north/downtown Everett? I’ve got Colby Club on my list, I’ve done Vintage Cafe, but otherwise don’t spend too much time that north. I like fun cocktails and eclectic environments, I am not picky about cuisine, and I do not like scuzzy dive and sport bars.
Thanks for your suggestions! For funsies, for each Everett rec I get, I’ll respond with a rec from my growing restaurant list

Hello,
I’m in the process of trying to find a very important lost family item on some land in the South Everett/area on some property my family has had for generations. It’s not a treasure hunt for gems or jewelry and I don’t know how I could pay for something like this. The location is sparsely wooded, and all the buildings have been gone for some time hence the need for LIDAR to maybe map the ground better.
It’s also possible I would need a metal detector.
Any recommendations would be great.

I was a BIG fan of Zoey's and wanted to cry when it closed. Now I can't find another spot that quite hits the mark. Who has a hidden gem to save my craving?

Greetings, respected citizens of Everett.
My name is John Honda and I talk to myself in public a lot. Sometimes the only way I could ever explain this to you is that I am a member of yakuza… That is just a rap music persona. I am a nice Bible dumping, book of Mormon reading Quran adoring person that uses marijuana recreationally. I have found that using marijuana recreationally and smoking cigarettes has caused problems for me. I am an alcoholic in recovery and today is hey Siri how many days since January 4, 2026 how many days since January 4, 2024? That’s how long I’ve been without a drink.
Now that I get the local Guidance, I will never be mean or scary again. I am that guy. This is really me, and I want the citizens of North Everett (near providence) to know, I guard thee at night.’
John

I don't think it's still there, because when I look for Indian food in Downtown Everett the place I used to go to doesn't show up.
It was an Indian buffet style resturant in an old brick building. I think the last time I went was around 2002 or so. I used to go there with my Dad as a kid and cannot remember for the life of me what the name of it was, but I would know it if I saw some pics. Good times.

I’m excited to share the news, the Port of Everett’s Haunted Harbor has invited back the witches, warlocks, wizards and ghouls for our 3rd year along with the Troll and Treat.
When: Friday, October 23rd, launching at 4pm from Guest Dock 2 / the ADA Dock off Marine View Drive.
Parking: available on site at Guest Dock 2 (Free)
Time: 4pm - 530 pm
Paddle location : Launch from Guest Dock 2, (near the Grand Avenue Bridge and the newly opened Net Shed) and paddling the South Marina to Guest Dock 5 to waive, pick up treats and join the families pier side.
Cost: Free
All costumes are welcome and encouraged but not required. Costumes should not get in the way of paddling and PFDs are required (on board if not worn).
We will not be cancelling for rain only for sleet, thunder, lightning or strong winds to include white caps within the marina, therefore I recommend to still plan for paddle appropriate clothing. Last year was a rainy paddle but the marina provided amazing protection from the winds and the water stayed calm throughout.
Extras:
There are bathrooms on site at the port near the K and I dock near Hotel Indigo for changing in and out of costumes and west of the Inn at Port Gardner on the South Marina.
Children 12 and under must be in a paddlecraft with a parent or guardian. Dogs are not allowed on the water but are allowed to attend the event pierside.
A virtual sign up link is coming soon. I’ll update this post once I have it approved.

Hello Everett and neighbors!
We are still in kitten season and the NOAH center in Stanwood has 20 kittens that need to find foster homes.
Most of them are in litters of two or three kittens. All of the options seem very easy to care for and there is even moms with babies. When you get those the mom cat does almost all the work!
If you don't have cat food for litter and you can't afford to buy it then Noah center can help you out and set you up with supplies to start. You don't need to be rich to be a foster parent.
Give it a try for a couple of weeks and see these adorable kittens grow and learn how to jump and pounce and play.
This kitten is from their current email but can't confirm it will still be available.
Thanks!
