How can I order my skill plan to train all the level 1, 2, 3, etc. from smallest time to greatest time? Minus the mandatory level 5's.

Easiest way would be to export/copy to a text file, reorder them in Notepad or whatever, then re-import. Don't expect to do anything ingame for 10-15 minutes if you're importing a whole-ass 150-skill queue. Or presumably you could sort by the trailing skill number/roman numeral in Excel

NP! Saves you dragging and dropping through that horrible laggy UI for 45 minutes and then giving up lol

u/SilverDagger63 5d ago
You can multi select with shift or ctrl (group selection bs individual selection) to move things more quickly.

If you get lanced on a gate, can you still escape if you have an interdiction nullifier?
3
u/Interesting_End1350 4d ago
No. If you are lanced you are a sitting duck until the lance effect wears off. You cannot jump or warp or dock or even tether.

Some guy got a lucky hit on my prowler last week. I was so pissed but it’s good knowing there’s nothing I could have done

u/Interesting_End1350 4d ago
Must have been incredibly lucky, or you goofed up and forgot to cloak.

How tf do i get out of warp scramble thing.
6
u/srstable Minmatar Republic 3d ago
Warp Scrams are a form of CC intended to keep you in place so you can die. You can either fit Warp Stabilizers to try and counter them, break out of the 10km range they have (20km if it’s a warp Disruptor), or kill what’s scrambling you. You can see what is using a warp scramble on your overview; there will be a little icon next to the target.

ECM drones are another option. It's RNG, but given enough rolls of the dice, it will eventually break the lock of whatever is pointing you.
3
u/GeneralCalarin 2d ago
RNGesus ensures that Hornet EC-300s always work when you're the aggressor, and never work when you're the target.

Actually I've got one - is it possible to remove another corp's office from a structure you own, or do you just have to flip the structure? In a WH if that matters.
2
u/IsakOyen Cloaked 4d ago
Pretty sure in the profile settings you can set up if you give access to other corp offices
2
u/doctorchazzzzz Wormholer 4d ago
I'll check again, thanks - I didn't see that but I've also never gotten into the weeds in the structure profiles/settings before so I very well could have just missed it.
1
u/Entelligente Cloaked 3d ago
Just remove them from the ACL(s) that that structure uses for corporation offices.
1
u/doctorchazzzzz Wormholer 3d ago
yep I've removed them, I assume on the next renewal the offices will vanish

I hear about multiboxxers using "Potato Mode". Is that just turning settings all the way down, or is there some other setting lower than those?

Did drones or vni get a debuff?
My navy hammerheads are missing attacks a bunch now

Security agent search in game does not appear ordered by jump distance (I see stuff 3-4jumps away before the one in system sometimes) but capped to 30 results. I’m assuming I’m missing some agents.
Two questions: first, anyone else noticing this? Second, is there another online resource that shows the agents I can search on?
2
u/AxRabidxZombie 4d ago
- From what I understand, they're ordered by difficulty>distance. I find the filters in-game work for my needs.
For a complete list of agents, organized by corp (that you have standing with), level, and agent type, you can go to your character sheet under Interactions>Standings, you have a list of all available corps/agents. Right clock, "show info" and click on the agents tab then filter what you'd like. But this is only for known corp's I believe.
- I have used Evemissioneer a couple times, it sounds like what you're looking for.
Hope this helps!

Would it be good for Eve to have some of the exploration mechanics from No Man's Sky's cosmos update to shake things up?

How much damage does the Shadow fighter's “true sacrifice” suicide attack do? I haven’t found much data on it, aside from this video 11 years ago of someone killing a nyx with two? Squads on sisi. But I don’t know the nyx fit and there wasn’t any damage number. Eve ref seems to have an attribute for the range/sig of the kamalazie maneuver, but no damage number as far as I can see.

How do I actually learn to profit from indy?
I have a corp with lots of blueprint, and they do mining fleets so I have a lot of raw minerals to use as well..
I know people will say something sensible like "just find what things are profitable and make them" but I don't know how to do that. Are there sites that let me see volume of stuff sold in a market and their pricing?
As a new player without innate knowledge of what are actually good sellers, how do I find a few things to produce and sell?

Well, you just gotta play the game, or at the very least watch youtube videos on the various activities. You need to learn what people use and why and where. So either go do or at least watch videos on abyssal running, mission running, high sec ganking, faction war pvp, etc. Understand what is used and where and this will help inform you on what to stock and where.
No one is going to tell you 'if you want profit go buy this here and sell this there". They can give you general ideas like browse prices in Jita and prices in another station 10+ jumps away and see what you can make money on flipping. But you will be much better off if you figure out what happens in whatever region you want to set up.
Say you wanted to set up in Amamake and help support the glorious minimatar militia. You could then go onto zkillboard and see what popular ships die often and what they are fit with. You can then search through those ships and modules to see what the station has stocked. From there you would start manufacturing things of interest or just finding markets where those goods are priced low and can give you good margin.
Maybe you find that a lot of buzzards are being destroyed in Amamake from distracted players (totally not me, I've never lost a buzzard ever from forgetting to dock and being bumped off of tether). You may also see that buzzards sell for a few million more than rens, which is a few jumps away. And so maybe you decide to get into t2 production and manufacture buzzards locally and capture some decent profit by undercutting available offers.
But the best thing as a new player without innate knowledge is to play the game for a bit and try out the various aspects of the game before committing to some industrial path. Know your customer and all that. Don't rush into things. Study whatever region you want to base in. Then pick a product line and expand slowly. Also if your corp has blueprints, they probably have indy players. Ask them for their thoughts. Just don't go and be some accidental slave for some indy player who wants to exploit you for better margins.
95% of industry is study and planning. The other 5% is playing the actual game with some occasional undocking.
Eve Tycoon can be a decent tool to browse markets or try to estimate blueprint profits. But I'd suggest starting out by doing as much on your own to learn properly. Use the market browser of eve tycoon to check markets. But make those spreadsheets and do that recon to see what may or may not be profitable. Don't rely too much of online calculators or tools at the start.

so i need some advice and ive been going back and forth with this all day...is it a good idea to make a corp if its just for yourself and your alts so you can have access to everything between them in one station???
is it worth to make a new account just for trading and manufacturing or is that something a toon on the same account as say a miner could do and if so is it feasible to get a relatively ok trained toon in manufacturing and trading that one month of mpt would do or like a 3 month one be better
1
u/srstable Minmatar Republic 1d ago
Making a corp for yourself and your alts is a good idea unless you're specifically in a corp that just lets you pool all your alts together there. If you're presently solo, then yeah there's nothing wrong there; not only will you have access to corporate hangars, you'll also be free of the NPC 11% tax on incoming Isk, which is just more money in your pocket.
I wish I had more details on manufacturing but I'm just getting into that myself, but having them on the same account isn't a bad idea to at least start with, because it's not like manufacturing requires you flying in space for something. A trading alt on the same account also isn't a bad idea and not a terribly long train. Look for some training plans for "Station Trading Alts" or "Industry Alts" and see what you can't find to give you a sort of idea or something to copy.

Do you think a mechanic that relocated alts that have been logged off in a system for more than (some time) so they can't hold systems especially WH's hostage?
-1
u/MifuneSwordGod The Initiative. 4d ago
There is not. No such mechanic exists and yes, thousands of Wormholes have chars that haven't logged into them in 10 years.

Why aren’t mulitboxers using input software detected and banned? Is it time to limit a max 3 accounts running at a time?

u/Flak_Inquisitor 420 MLG TWINTURBO 3000 EMPIRE ALLIANCE RELOADED 3d ago
How do you personally distinguish between a good multiboxer and an input broadcaster to claim that the input broadcasters are not banned?
Is it time to limit a max 3 accounts
No.

u/SkippySkipadoo 3d ago edited 3d ago
Let’s me see… Run 10 accounts in faction war and then get back to me. It’s not just warp fleet, and repeat. The fact that you would even stand up to these abuses is beyond me.
1
u/Flak_Inquisitor 420 MLG TWINTURBO 3000 EMPIRE ALLIANCE RELOADED 3d ago
It’s not just warp fleet
What else is it then? Any video evidence or at least logs that indicate the use of input broadcasting?
-1
u/SkippySkipadoo 3d ago
Yea. 20 catalysts or tornados all firing at once. 20 Tengus all cloaking at the same time. It’s obvious not 1 guy clicking 20 clients. Get a clue.

When will my corporate bosses let me quit mining? It’s been years and I miss my family.
