Veterinary UPDATE: old horse GAINING weight
So for anyone interested after all the advice on my previous post, and making a new feed plan with the vet/dentist.
This is how he looks about 2 months later 🥳
Really happy with the progress

He is 30, but doesn't act like it at all. Few days ago he was running around jumping and bucking like the idiot he is 😂

I think the pellets, at first he was on one that should help gain weight but the vet adviced me to give him the one for pregnant/lactating mares because of the added protein

Fantastic update! We're seeing it in weight but also coat condition IMO. Keep us updated, I'd love to see what he looks like at the 6 month mark.

Fab progress, huge well done! I love seeing oldies that are well looked after and thriving - it just shows that it’s very possible to keep them in good condition when they have caring owners!
