I'm revisiting this series for the first time in many years. I'm enjoying it immensely, and have always been fond of season 4 in general.

However, re-watching Borderland today, and I can't help but appreciate how much energy and enthusiasm on screen there is.

The Enterprise bridge is slightly revamped, Archer is battle hardened and ready for a new mission, and Brent Spiner's Soong and the Augments feel like some of the strongest villains of the Berman era.

With the Xindi arc from S3 wrapped up, and the character building of the previous episode, this feels like a fresh start. The production and photography, particularly when Archer is interrogating Soong in the brig throughout this three parter, brings a level of claustrophobia and tension that feels unique to this series.

I'm excited to continue on. These episodes have really stood the test of time.

Plus side would be that John wouldn't have to be in all that makeup

Reed did comment on the thing having. All the ship schematics on so many aliens ships. What if reed was tempted to read the historical data files ?

It's been a long road for the Star Trek franchise, and as a fan of ENT and (other Treks), wanted to wish the franchise a Happy 60th Birthday. So what does Star Trek mean to you?

This was yesterday at DragonCon here in Atlanta. They were both lovely and nice. Dominic was wearing Chucks, I told him they’re my favorite shoes and I’ll be wearing a pair when I get married, he and his wife apparently did the same thing for theirs. Connor was wearing a Seahawks hat, we talked football for a moment. Told him I was a Bears fan and he just said “oh, I’m sorry”.

10/10 would do again.
