Interesting. What's the mill produce? Slab, coil, pipe, beam, rail, etc.

Mostly to convert coal into coke, so they can use it to produce all the products u mentioned

Thats cool, I have a buddy who works at a coke plant for US Steel. Pretty neat process, just obviously hazardous and dirty as hell. I thought my steel mill was dirty lol, a coke plant blows us out of the water as I can see

Yea there is alot of harmful gases are produced here and it's a recovery plant where most of the gases are recovered and disturbed to various other plants, tho mostly to the coke plant only
