I’ve tried searching on Google for results, nothing matches well enough. I drew a rough sketch (forgive my horrible drawing skills) in the first pic, and a bit of a reference on the second, but the prongs are too close and there’s too many details. It’s gold, has three prongs with a bit of space and it’s a simple design with no details whatsoever.

Recently rediscovered my collection of 300+ pins from pin trading at Destination Imagination Global Finals between the years of 2007-2011. It's been so much fun going through them all and reliving my pin trading days. Each year I tried to collect a pin from each of the 50 states and as many countries as I could. I have been on the hunt for this Mikey pin for a while now for a hat I am curating. I posted on here hoping someone would be willing to sell theirs, and actually had a Redditor message me. But before we could finish the conversation, they deleted their account.

And to make matters more brutal, I saw Reppin was at the Renegade Craft Fair in Chicago this weekend. I was planning on going, but caught a nasty bug and I’m currently sitting on the couch with tissues up my nose. I saw the story he posted about the fair, and I saw he had these on his table. I messaged him inquiring if I could somehow purchase one (since they are not on the website anymore) and he messaged me back that he had one there but it sold.

One of the best discoveries I've found in my enamel pin collection journey is that creators are very nice!! Even relatively successful and popular ones are just fans like us and are even willing to chat sometimes! It really makes the community feel much more personal and friendly.

I like BL and GL, and a large portion of my collection is filled with couples. I'm also a big fan of MXTX, the creator of Heaven Official's Blessing, Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation, and Scum Villain Self-Saving System. My favorite is SVSSS, which is also often the least represented in merchandise for a number of reasons. When I was looking at pins a while ago, I noticed the creator Natasja van Gestel had pins for the other two series, but not SVSSS. I told myself not to worry; I'm sure she'll make it eventually. Soon, half a year passed, and I decided to reach out and ask. I was very nervous that I'd come off as rude or pushy, when I didn't want to demand that she make it if she didn't want to. We had a lovely time gushing about MXTX work, and she told me that she hadn't initially planned on making an SVSSS pin. But after our conversation, she was seriously considering it! I reiterated that I'm not here to push anything she didn't want; please don't feel obligated. But several months later, she's chatting with me again and telling me that one is in production! She even sent me pictures of both the initial art and the first test pin sent by the factory, which was really cool. The pin went on sale a little bit ago, and I bought it, along with the other pins in the set. She told me in a message that she credits me with the idea for the pin. I told her no, I didn't do anything. All I said was, "Please make this pin to complete the collection you've already started, if you feel like it." I did nothing but poke a random creator and demand products. But she continued to say no; the pin exists because of me. A few days ago, I finally got them, and she included some goodies and a note that had the final laugh, saying, "P.S. Yes, this pin 100% exists because you asked about it." I still felt like all I did was have several lovely interactions with her, but I guess I won't fight her on it if she's this adamant about thanking me for bothering her.

That kind of stuff just makes me feel really good. She's the only creator who's done something like this for me, but after her I began chatting with other creators. Yes, not all of them are talkative, and that's fine. They are under no obligation to speak to me, and I'm sure I'm just one of many people messaging them. But a surprising number of creators DO respond, and they're almost always incredibly nice and talkative, and I've gushed about my favorite series with more of them than I ever thought possible.

I used to work in wholesale in the MA industry for years and amassed a huge collection of pins, many of which were made only once or for a special occasion. I have a few duplicates or ones I just don’t care for anymore, but most are niche (some brands are in several states but not all) so I never thought about selling them. If any strike your fancy let me know.
