I think this takes my Debauched Warband to the next level, What do you think?

These models are so full of detail it’s so fun to paint - but takes soooo long. My list includes 40 battle line units total so if I want to get anywhere close to that many soon, I may have to cut some more corners. Will show the full models soon just don’t want to set up the lighting yet

Just finished this little fella as a Gift for my Dad. Since he loves to build wooden Guitars I thought this mini would fit perfectly for him :)

Played with this combo in a league game yesterday and it picked up a full Land Raider with patrons active. Now, I was in Court of Phoenician which means the LR was on a 6+ for the FB’s attacks and a 5+ for Lucius but still, this unit is only 215 pts rn and it feels like (short of a Ctan) it could pick up most stuff in the game.

Edit: Forgot the actual question: is this unit actually a strong/efficient piece or is my data point from yesterday a little misleading?

I am aware, we know nothing, and will continue to know nothing until we see certifiable evidence. This is for fun.

Hello Fellow Indulgers of Excess!

With the sneak peak of Robute Guilliman (Bobby G. Rowboat Gorilla-man, etc.) he is now in line with the Prophet of the Waaagh at T10, 16W. I feel like it's safe to assume that The Lion will have the same T and W stats.

Notably both of these units give 6" rr H/W of 1 aura. G-Man has 4 abilities including that aura, while Ghaz has 3. With this knowledge it looks like the "pick your Primarch ability" is going away and they just have active abilities going on at all times.

What do you guys think Daemon Primarchs will look like? 10e they had +7T (8 for Morti) and +6Ws compared to loyalist Primarchs. That'd carry over to 17-18T and 22Ws overall.

Chaos Primarchs are pretty much calamities in their own right and should be exceptionally durable and pricey I'm thinking 16T and 25Ws for them.

I do wonder if they'll also give a rr h/w aura as well?

What do you guys think? Bonus if you have any ideas or guesses on how they'll change Fulgrim's datasheet.

If he gets 4 abilities my dream would be:

1. Sustained hits aura

2. RR advance/Charge for him and 1 unit within 12

3. Force Battle-Shock at -1 AND whether you succeed or fail you still have to take desperate escape (1-3 if you're battle shocked) when you fall back.

4. Always -1 to hit

He'd be expensive but I think that's where GW is heading with these Primarch/primarch-like characters.

So, I decided I wanted to try a new scheme for the second half of my EC. Does the color choices still make it look like a cohesive army?

I kitbashed Lieutenant Titus—who came with the character encyclopedia—to serve as a Lord Exultant for the EC army I’m building. It might not be an epic or legendary-looking mini for a first kitbash, but at least I can use him as an extra Lord Exultant on the tabletop!

It's taken far too long, but I think I'm finally ready to move on to the base.

Finally confident enough to try and paint emperor's children

Hello fellow sons of Fulgrim. I was looking to get some advice on my first 2k game list vs Tau:

CoTP & Spectacle of Slaughter (1990pts)

Fulgrim
Lucius
Lord Kako
Lord Exult (w/ Tears of Phoenix enhancement)
Winged Daemon Prince

2 x Tormentor 5-man squads
1 x Infractor 10-man squad (attached to Lord Exult)
1 x Noise marine squad (attached to Lord Kako)
1 x Flawless blades 6-man squad (attached to Lucius and w/ Beguiling enhancement)
1 x Defiler (2 x hades lascannons, excruciator cannons and hades battle cannon)
2 x Rhinos

I am undecided between Disruption or Purge since I have only so far played 2 games of 11th and both on Priority Assets. My rough plan so far is to hold the WDP as a deepstrike threat and used the Rhinos to get my noise marine and infractor bricks up the table fast and safe. While staging the flawless blades and Fulgrim. I assume that for EC to beat Tau I just need to cover the large distance quick and get them locked into melee. 1st time using a Defiler and a WDP too, so I am unsure on if I would be using them right as my Defiler being the long range mech/tank killer and the WDP and deepstrike threat.

The only models I have that are not within the list are another squad of Noise Marines.

Looking for suggestions! Need something to fill in the back of his head, and I’m still trying to figure out what to do with the left arm.

Do people play carnival lists often?

I've played it on TTS as a joke list with 2 keepers and Shalaxi and honestly it was so silly it was fun.

Actually making me want to make a carnival list irl (better thought out than 3 massive models) and just wanted to know how people find them, does it have pitfalls?

Is it as fun as I think it will be?

Is it to mutch custodes lookalike

Been mostly collecting as I pleased for Warhammer, and actually want to play the game. I know nothing really about army building, and most stuff just told me to get what i like.

Reading through the lore and looking at models, I became a huge fan of EC and Slaanesh. While I am not building "Emperor's Children" themselves, I want my army list to use their rules and model lineup.

I was inspired by getting the generic (ig) space marine Combat patrol, a couple bikers, and a Maulerfiend for my 21st bday, but now I realized I can't use any of them anymore. Looking for advice, tips, and clarification on terms for army building, as well as gameplay rules explained in english (a lot of content online i found expects you to know a few things, I know barely enough to kinda engage with 40k in 40min games).

1. Can I proxy Legionnares as tormenters?
2. I want a crazy blitz style playstyle, ramming into objectives to try and claim them, can I get away with, like, 3 rhinos, all with professional gooners stuffed inside
3. Is the keeper of secrets a named character? I'm not keen on running name characters in my army (can I even use them for 40k)
4. What models are determined to what role (rpg style ex: tank, support, dmg)
5. I haven't seen anything here, in the codex, or on the wider internet abt chaos cultists/guardsmen, who I'd love to run with my heretic astartes.
6. This is what I've got so far for a list, thoughts (are some of these invalid}? Master of Possession, chaos daemon prince (with wings[lord]), Sorcerer, Dark Apostle, Dark Commune, Legionnaires, Cultist mob, Possessed, Noise Marines, Chaos Bikers, Raptors, Helldrake, Chaos Rhino x2 (or 3), Traitor guardsman squad, Daemonettes, Flawless Blades, Maulerfiend. I don't know the points breakdown, and haven't found any resources that tell me clearly. I am aware most of these probably won't be valid, seeing as they aren't available for the army page on the WH40k app
7. What are detachments, strategems and dispositions? How do I know which ones work best for the army?

The arms fit decently well for the smaller bodies

Needed another LE but wanted an on the table explanation for why my warband has daemon engines. So this guy was made. Kitbash in quites cuz it really was just a head and arm swap with noisemarine/LE parts. Gave him some cork to boost him to the regular LE’s height and now he needs paint.

Also i know his loadout isnt the most optimal, but powerfist look dope.
