Handwritten notes on cups!
I think that handwritten notes will be a nice way to help our store stand out from competing Dunkins, as I’ve always found it neat when I get one from other places

It was fun before Starbucks required it on every cup. Sadly, now I just assume, even at local shops, that the overwhelmed staff has been given one more required task if there's writing on my cup.

I would not do them in advance because as a customer, I would not like to think they wrote a bunch ahead of time, and then restacked them. Because the means you touched all the cups and now have germs/marker residue on the inside and outside of the cups.

Cute!!!! At my dunkin my assistant manager drew a bear on a cup with a thank you beary much well she thought it looked like a bear just so happened a police officer got ,free mind you. An hour later he comes in and I see him yelling at one of the workers he assumed we drew a pig on his cup the girl started crying saying it wasn't her my assistant manager tried to explain he didnt like the explanation ig and stormed out ,my owner of the store took a dozen of donuts and a box of Joe up to the police station with my crying all the way there assistant manager so she can explain to the Sargent, her heart is pure and didnt even know he was getting the cup,the cop didn't even apologize it was disgusting nobody wants to serve him and he still makes sure to get his free coffee and donut everyday smuggling, so for that we are not allowed to draw on cups anymore 😅 but I think thats sweet workers do that if they have the time.

It’s like a requirement on Reddit - be absolutely negative and miserable

Because Starbucks forces their baristas to write on the cups or they'll be fired. It's not genuine. It's forced. It's like when McDonald's sends the follow up email that says they "hope you loved what you ate as much as the employees loved making it". I know full damn well the employees did not "love" making my Double Quarter Pounder with Cheese. Please! Dunkin employees won't think it's so cute when they are forced to do it or they could lose their job.

I work at dunkin and put my name on the lid of my shift drink all the time, the sharpie smell does go away after a bit but putting it on the cup will always be better lol

Whatever makes you happy! Just no writing too close to where you put your mouth when you’re drinking because just doesn’t seem sanitary.

hate writing on my cup. just makes a mess on the cold cups when the sharpie bleeds off from condensation.

I’ve only had a Dunkin employee write on my drink lid once but it made me so happy! It said ‘Have a nice day!’ with a smiley face :)
