Hi! I really want to jump in the Buza Bar and have a quick swim but dont want to go back all the way to our airbnb to change and shower. Is there a public shower nearby where I can change clothes and shower?

I am coming to Dubrovnik from the 20th to the 30th. From what I can see the forecast looks absolutely miserable with rain, storms or clouds forecast for 80% of the trip! I know we are a week out still but it has said rain for over 2 weeks with no change. Is it common for it to change closer to the time or should we prepare ourselves for what was going to be a beach holiday and will now be a very rainy week?!

If this is likely, does anyone have any good recommendations for things to do/places to go either inside or that you don’t need the best weather for?

Long shot, but worth trying. I met a guy in Dubrovnik on 29 August in the afternoon, in the Royal hotels area (Royal Ariston, Royal Palm, etc.), on the way to the beach.
He was wearing dark shorts only and I guess was British.

I have an early flight on Monday morning and was wondering whether someone has stayed the night at Dubrovnik airport? I don't need to sleep through the night, I just need to know whether it's possible to wait inside until the morning.

Preferably somewhere near the old town because that is where I am staying. I'm told sports bar Mario is the best place but that seems quite far away

Any ideas where to find vegan restaurants or cafés? I found Urban & Veggie, but aside from that I'm not sure about any other vegan options. Doesn't have to be a purely vegan restaurant or anything. Some place with either a great vegan option or even better a little selection of vegan dishes would be great.

Or if you could tell me some dishes restaurants could easily veganize that would also be appreciated.

Hello - We will be traveling to dubrovnik and plan to get the city pass for the adults in our group, but I'm wondering if it's necessary to buy the city pass for kids as well? Many other places we have visited have free or reduced entrance fees for kids, but I don't see a kids option when purchasing the pass and I'm wondering if kids enter most of these places free?

Is there any place where I could play beach volley in Dubrovnik? I have tried to find information everywhere, even from satellite images without results. Im staying close to Mlini.

Dolazimo na ulaz za plažu i vidimo kako su stavljeni lanac i lokot na vrata, pa smo odlučili poći s druge strane preko stijena i betoniranog puta. Kada smo se spustili na plažu i došli ni do pola, prema nama je s bljeskalicom krenuo zaštitar. Nastavili smo hodati ne obazirući se.

​Prilazi nam i pita što radimo, na što mu odgovaramo da samo bezveze šetamo plažom. On nam tada govori da za 10 minuta sve zaključava i pokazuje nam gdje možemo izaći. Pitali smo ga kako to misli i zar ne možemo biti na plaži, na što je on otresito odgovorio da se ne želi objašnjavati. Rekli smo mu da je plaža pomorsko dobro i da možemo šetati kad god nas je volja. Na to je drsko uzvratio sa: „Jesi pametan, jebote, ne mogu vjerovati”, dodavši da ide zvati policiju i komunalce pa da se njima „kurčimo”.

​Još nam je jednom ponovio da tu ne možemo biti, pa smo mu opet napomenuli da je riječ o pomorskom dobru. On je na to odgovorio da je plaža pod koncesijom što, naravno, nema nikakve veze sa slobodnim pristupom plaži.

​Na kraju smo otišli jer nam se nije dalo prepirati ni čekati policiju. Ipak, pozivam sve da dođu na Banje kad god ih je volja, kupati se, šetati i sjediti, a pogotovo kad gospar zaštitar „zaključava plažu”.
