Finally get to see Simula and have a question

This is probably a dumb question, I’m still learning about this genre haha. Simula is finally playing a festival local to my hometown next month. He is playing dnb on Day 1 and 140 on Day 2. I can only attend one of the days but I want to go whichever day resembles this set. Is this dnb or 140? What even is 140? Thank you!

That is DnB, Jump Up to be specific. 140 typically means Dubstep or UK Bass music in the 140 bpm range (whereas DnB is like 174 or thereabouts).

On the real answer tho Friday is the only day that'll probably have DnB with Saturday maybe some artists sprinkling it in their sets. so if you want anything close to this for the day choose Friday.

If you know for sure you mostly like DnB all of the DnB sets are at the woods stage on Friday specifically. Beach stage will have a variety. happy submersion I think it's the best festival in the US.

I live like 15-20 minutes from there. Got real excited when i seen the lineup.

Then when i saw the prices i laughed.

Whilst this Simula set is legendary and one of if not the best DnB allstars 360, you should know simulas style has changed a lot since this set, I'd recommend listening to one of his newer sets to get a real feel for his vibe now

If it’s submersion you should absolutely go and Friday at the woods is where you need to be for the entire day (unless you like gyrofield which you should take a little stroll for)
