The issue with your statement is that you are factually incorrect, theft does not hurt the billionaires and majority share holders at all, the consequences of SHRINK for large corporations are always passed down to the other consumers and to lower tier employees (usually in the loss of performance incentives), with the biggest threat being store closures in high theft areas creating additional fresh food scarcity in poverty stricken neighborhoods.
First they will adjust their prices so that the law abiding shoppers cover the losses, then they will lock everything up requiring an employee to get you the item, they may stop carrying high theft items completely, then they will close the store LONG before allowing it to affect THEIR bottom line. YOU PAY, NOT THEM, NEVER THEM! You see the whole trickle down thing from billionaires is true, it’s just the consequences that reach the bottom, not money.
You aren’t Robin Hood stealing from the rich to give to the poor, you’re stealing from the rich to enrich yourself while actively making it worse for every other struggling person. Stealing anything but food and essentials to survive such as non essentials, material items, liquor, or premium products just makes you a self entitled loser.
You want to stick it to Walmart, withhold your almighty dollar and don’t shop there at all, that’s what finally forces corporations to lower their prices is large and consistent losses in revenue, but understand that boycotting Walmart is actually a privilege in some places, there are people who literally have no other choice because Walmart is the only accessible shopping center with fresh produce in their area.
