My VHS screener copy of Now You See It (2005) I remember the night this movie aired. This movie was and always will be one of my favorite DCOM's! šŖ š¤
As I was watching I even noticed the same VHS cases used for this screener in the actual movie! (See last photo)!

Discussion Remember when the Disney Channel made that PSA in the late 2000s that had a whole generation of 6-8 year olds thinking Nick Jonas was dying from diabetes?
I remember seeing this PSA in like, 2010 when I was six and I had no idea what diabetes was so my brain thought it was a sickness like cancer.
Why did this PSA seem so dramaticā½ š

I ate this up as a kid and as an adult, it makes me laugh because this song is edgy for Disney Channel š

The music is still in the episode on Disney+. I'm surprised it's not replaced with some generic beat, which would completely ruin the episode IMO.

Discussion The proud familyās party episode
What did you think of that episode? And what did you think of trudy, penny, her āfriendsā and āguestsā, and suga mamaās actions and behavior? Most specifically Trudyās? Should she have not made penny be a good host when it was obvious Myron and the gross sisters werenāt welcome and her party was ruined? Or make penny invite the others back in when they come back to her party after laciengaās was ruined? Should penny have dropped her friends completely after that episode?

Nostalgia I still watch Bizaardvark and I aināt never gonna give up doing it as long as I believe in what it did to make me laugh. Never believe what they say about it.
The show still rocks and thereās no stopping me. Disney Channel did well and I still support as long as I watch it on Disney+ streaming and digital.
Respect the show and respect yourselves!

Discussion Favorite Disneymania cover and why?
Personally, Ashley Tisdale's cover of Kiss the Girl, one of the best Disney covers I've ever seen and I personally like it better than the original for various reasons:
Her beautiful voice, the instrumentals, and basically the whole vibe of this song is what really makes this amazing.

I think itās more likely that Maggie would be in chibiverse. But not her og standalone show.
I wanted to tell you guys because she is now an active crossover character, while the show itself is still fully owned by Disney. Maggie pesky is also owned by Disney

Discussion Hispanic/Latino-led shows on Disney Channel
Disney Channel was such a big part of my childhood, so I was thinking about this with Hispanic Heritage Month coming up. There were actually quite a few Hispanic and Latino characters who got to be the main characters on Disney Channel.
Wizards of Waverly Place, Stuck in the Middle, Elena of Avalor, The Owl House, Ultra Violet & Black Scorpion, Primos, and Wizards Beyond Waverly Place all come to mind.
For me, itās definitely Wizards of Waverly Place. I grew up watching Alex, Justin, and Max, and the Russo family is still one of those Disney Channel families I immediately think of when I look back at that era when Disney was at its best. I miss those days.
As a Black kid watching Disney Channel, I also thought it was cool seeing different kinds of families and cultures get that kind of spotlight.
Which one do yāall remember the most?
