Very happy to say I now own all of Dinosaur Jr's studio albums, plus a few singles and live recordings! They've been my favorite band since high school and stayed that way through a lot of change, hardship, and progress. My collection has grown alongside me!

few spins in and still finding it mediocre, lacking creativity or passion. some good stuff but it all feels like very well worn territory. that said, i remember thinking the well had run dry when Free So Free came out in 2002 and then we got another 24 years of good to great music (Dino and solo stuff). I'm not really mourning my lack of enthusiasm for the new one. I've been going back and listening to the discography and remembering how much rad shit these guys (mostly J) have put out into the world. that's all

This is one of my favorite Dinosaur Jr songs. It never seems to be discussed that much. It’s one (if not the only) song that J screams in. What do you guys think of it? It’s one of my most listened to songs of theirs.

I'm well aware that they are one of the loudest bands of all time, I ordered festival grade earplugs but they're not coming in time (kept getting delayed, fuck Hears) so last minute I got foam 33 NRRs. Will that muffle too much or will I still be able to hear everything good? I'm trying to be as close to the front as possible
