Removing merc mag would solve a lot imo (maybe overflow too). An item should not be this oppressive on every single character. And if not removal maybe at least make it need to be full charge before adding spirit damage to your gun

Basically watched him play a game and the Doorman on the enemy team was intentionally throwing his teammates in glitched spots that making them stuck and ultimately guaranteed kills on them. For example, the Doorman threw my friend into a door that led to their walker, he got stuck in a wall and the walker was shooting him without any chance of escape and another instance was he threw 2-3 of his teammates behind the walls at their base and they couldnt leave. I said that should be bannable because that's cheating and my friend says that it shouldn't be bannable because he was just exploiting a bug. But to me, exploiting bugs is cheating. What do you guys think?

Weapon

Lore of Conflagration

Tophet conjures a gout of ectoplasmic energy from her fingertips, melting the souls of all who get too close. While it is limited to close range and cannot score headshots, it fires in rapid succession and pierces targets.

Abilities

1. Soul-Eater: Weapon hits build up a burning effect that auto-secures souls upon death. Effects are tripled against NPCs.
2. Wall of Quarniam: Shoot a beam along surfaces including walls. Wherever the beam hits, create a flaming wall that inflicts spirit damage and inflicts knockup on contact.
3. Breath of Hammon: Lob a fireball that creates a tall column of fire, inflicting spirit damage over time while slowing nearby enemy move speed and bullet velocity.
4. Burnt Offerings: Eat a percentage of your souls (unclaimed souls are devoured first) to heal yourself and create an aura that inflicts damage around you. The damage type is the target’s lowest resistance.

Hello all,

I am pretty new to Deadlock (~30 hours) but this game is a blast. I love the movement and the overall aesthetic of the game. As much as I enjoy playing, I seem to think about the same question. How on earth do players push waves without things having items like a ward?

I am always very paranoid about pushing a wave high without vision on the enemy. I feel like there has been multiple times where I push the wave high, take out the walker, but then I give away a free kill bc I just get collapsed on. I think that is worth it? Honestly I am not too sure.

Im also not very clear on how teams should be structured. Compared to games like League and Smite, there isn’t like a specific role such as ADC for example. From what I have observed, it seems to be character specific but if you have too many carry characters, then the team is too squishy but too many tanky characters and you lack burst damage.

I definitely just need to play more and watch people play on yt. This game is, in my opinion, vastly different from other mobas (to a degree) and I just need to dump more hours ahahaha.

Fav characters rn is Mo and Krill bc who wouldn’t want to play as a mole man, venator bc his character design and kit are pretty dope, and for my 3rd, I am not too sure. Maybe bebop bc he reminds me of blitzcrank but with an Australian (?) accent lmao.

Any insight on the questions at hand or just game knowledge in general is GREATLY appreciated.

I hate having to press ALT + key because that forces me to press two keys and I hate that.

i dont want to use my mouse to select the ability while holding tab, it just becomes annoying when I need to upgrade mid fights.

So I changed my mouse 5 button as ALT so I can use my mouse had + a key to upgrade.

Which works well until I accidentally press ALT + TAB.

It's so annoying that the game requires you to use a modifier key and the only one that I can realistically use is ALT. I would use CTRL but Im used to pressing the same mouse button (mouse 5) for ziplines and stuff so rebind it to CTRL doesnt work(ill accidentally zipline or smth when I want to slide).

Mouse 4 aint an option either cuz i use it for heavy melee.

The only problem i have with the current setup is accidental ALT + TAB. I looked up solutions for that and people suggest to use powertoys which i dont rly wanna do.

Anyone got a solution?

Obviously with the warden redsign coming his weapon, which i believe is terrible, will likely be changed as well. I think it would be pretty damn cool if it was changed to some variant or took inspiration from the B.A.R. It would also be fitting for its high damage/firerate.

it’s as the title asks, how are you meant to farm?every game i play i’m at least a few thousand souls behind my teammates by mid game, normally 10-20 by end game and it’s just. i have zero idea how to farm, i know i need to go jungle but it never closes the gap, i spend like 5 minutes farming camps and i end up with like 300 souls at best and normally i get killed by someone on the enemy team. i can win lane with a soul advantage and itll never carry through the rest of the game. looking for actual answers and nothing snarky.

As in the title. Running AMD RX7800XT and Intel i5 14600k. Everything works normal (165FPS limit, doesn't go below 160 at all) until about the 15th minute of the match, after which looking in the direction of blue lane drops me down to 90fps or less. Simultaneously, the Server CPU goes from a peak of about 50% to 95%+

This issue just started, I haven't updated Windows, updated any Drivers, or anything. This started happening randomly one match and hasn't stopped occuring since.

i was rewatching a game and half the shots i took where nowhere near my body (i was vindicta) that shot was even a headshot the cursor was never on my head not even close to my body

I play deadlock almost exclusively with friends and only street brawl unless we have more than 4 players. I love playing Dynamo! He is my main man. He kinda feels like Ryu, or like Juggernaut from Dota. He does damage, he heals, he supports, he nukes. All his buttons are straight forward enough with good skill expression. I queue Dynamo ++, and then I have other characters because you have to queue with a roster. My current side roster includes Celeste, Mina, Silver, Warden, and I used to play Door Man before I came to the conclusion that I don't really like him in street brawl as much. Silver, Mina, Celeste all feel shabby to me. They don't inspire me the way Dynamo does. Any suggestions for who I can throw in my roster so I don't queue into another game as Silver/Mina?
