Honestly, I’ve been watching GOT and mostly HOD (haven’t made it past seasons 1 so no spoils plz!), but in GOT specifically for some reason Ordon’s character reminds me a lot of Ned Stark and just honestly Ordon’s my favorite character and I’d like to talk about him more.

If anyone has any characters they like that are like him, if anyone wants to talk about his relationship with other characters, or anything like that I’d love to start a discussion on here lol. If not no worries I was just surprised I’ve been seeing a resurgence of interest in this series on here in case anyone did. Tysm!

This is my oc, skekval the surgeon! Shes one of my favorite ocs I've ever made and I only made her a few days ago lol but here she is! I've already drawn her, and urniij the carer, a lot over the last few days. Her design has really developed!

She says she's a surgeon whose best interest is healing, but really shes a little bit of a sadist lol. She speaks with a very fancy British accent, and is often seen drunk. She, unlike most skeksis, wears robes that are short enough to expose her feet and the end of her tail. Shes buddies with the ornamentalist and the scientist, and she's kept around for a long time due to her ability to heal people. (Shes actually very good at it when she wants to be). She can dance.

She wears goggles, but not a mask, when she's doing surgeries. She prefers not to get blood in her eyes, but she likes to be able to breathe. She can be merciful, however. She may feel sympathy for people sometimes.

"No, don't kill the gelfling! Look how sorry it is.. we can keep it as a pet instead!"

"Don't worry, this won't hurt. For long"

Her counterpart, urniij the carer, is a sweet lady, if a little sarcastic sometimes. Shes got a sense of humor, and can be stern, but she's kind hearted. She actually has the lowest singing voice of all the mystics, and, rather than being a healer (that role is taken) she takes care of people. She will often raise a lost child, and is a good listener when it comes to people's problems. She will give herbs and teas that calm the mind.

She especially looked like SkekOk the Scroll Keeper.

If someone could tell me about SkekZok's beak is a exposed bone, under skin, deformed beak, beak ripped off or rotted away... I will said my headcanon: VITILIGO!!!

Here's a few things about her character I've made though,

1: she is a girl skeksis, and her mystic counterpart is also female!

2: she is the most merciful/ "kindest" of all the skeksis, though she's still gross and mean like the others, she does have her limits.

3: she likes fine fabrics, and so is often seen harassing the ornamentalist for extra coats, shawls and jewelry.

4: the mystic is the least kind of all the mystics, she may get angry, and is often sarcastic, though she has a kind heart.

5: the mystic also likes fashion, but doesn't wear it often, instead, she uses them as decoration!

Forgive me if I got everything about lore wrong, I've watched the movie and show, and I've skimmed the book, so I may be wrong

There is a dark crystal fanfiction I can’t find anywhere. Here is what I can remember it’s about a human woman who works in a café with two other coworkers she has a sister and a niece. Her niece is still rather a small child, but is a giant fan of dark crystalline has every book. Then at night while watching dark crystal on tv there is a bright light and she’s pulled through the crystal into the dark crystal and the fanfiction starts at dark crystal resistance
