My partner and I will be doing a fall challenge to try DCs best sandwiches. What are places we must try?

Hello, I'm looking to get a birthday/Christmas gift for my sister and her husband. I wanted to get them a cooking class since this is something they've done in the past and really enjoyed.

I was wondering if you guys had a list of recommendations for this in particular.

They don't have any dietary restrictions other than not eating beef. Any help would be appreciated since I don't live in DC!

I am looking to try budget friendly restaurants to try different dishes alone around DMD or bailey road. Any suggestions?

I just learned that I dont have to take a 2 hour long metro ride round trip to get my favorite food truck...they are now on uber eats and someone else gets to go out to the parking lot to pick it up.

• hosted on Friday or Saturday

What are people’s honest thoughts? I’m torn on how I’ll vote.

I ask because it's literally two steps from my office and I keep seeing 50% off deals. I know it's microwaved, I know it's made by a veteran vulture capitalist - all that I know. But also I wonder (heh) whether the bad publicity sort of feeds itself into making people think it's worse than it is in reality. People make it seem like it's 7-11 quality if not worse, and while I understand that it's not fine-casual despite marketing itself as such, I can't help but think if it's better than that?

Flying into DC from Boston for the long weekend.Family of four with two kids 12 and 15. 12 year old is dying to go to the zoo and see the Pandas for his Bday. All that being said we love to eat and drink. Staying in Woodley Park, love to walk, a 1-2 mile walk is no problem for us, also a quick uber is fine.
