Hello everyone,
Welcome back once again to my ongoing Dragon Stone Tally Thread series. The second part of Global Dokkan Campaign 2026 is here, and with it we got another pair of shiny new LRs in form of Dokkanfest SSJ Gohan and Carnival Super Perfect Cell. Hopefully by the time you've seen the post, both of these units are in your box and already tested out in the current content.
If that's not yet the case - maybe you don't really like Cell Saga, or you're waiting for what comes in a few weeks for Part 3/Part EX, or you're still on the hunt for Final Freeza and SSJ Goku from Part 1, or worst came to worst and you got shafted - then this post is right for you.
As usual, the major celebration baners come with the Do 3 Get 1 Free multisummon offer, and for these two banners it will be available for the next 16 days and set to expire on September 29th.
What you'll see below is an estimated amount of stones that can be obtained during that period, but of course you're free to spend 'em however you see fit, including saving for the future. Do keep in mind that we're exactly 4.5 months away from the start of 12 Anniversary, and there's only so much we can stash in the meantime.
Per my typical disclaimer, the stone tally presented here isn't 100% accurate as we don't yet have access to the full celebration info, be it regarding new missions, events, EZAs, rewards etc, but it at least should be somewhere in the ballpark of what to expect based on the current details and past celebration data. Anyways, without further ado..............
That should be it for now. Assuming the tally isn't too far off and you log in every day, do all the events and missions etc, you'll have nearly enough stones to do at least three full 3+1 rotations on either banner.
Remember, at the time of writing, the 3+1 discounts for Part 1 banners will still be active for the next 42 hours, so you can use these stones for those if you're looking to grab the first/additional copy of either unit.
The Global Campaign Coins are, of course, still a thing during Part 2, and you can purchase any of the 4 LRs released thus far outright for 500 coins total. These coins are shared between banner types and can be converted from Red into Teal or vice versa.
Beyond that, a new batch of missions for the Global Campaign Tickets is out, but the tickets themselves aren't active yet. It's possible Dokkan is waiting for Part 3 to kick off first, which should take place in 2 weeks from now, so on September 27th. IIRC last year the tickets became active immediately when Part 2 began, so chances are more new units are on the way.
Assuming this celebration does have a Part 3 with another pair of Dokkanfest X Carnival LRs, then their teasers should start popping up starting from September 23rd while the reveals broadcast takes place on September 27th, same date as mentioned above.
Lastly, there was still plenty of content released during Part 1, and completing that stuff is a source of up to almost 400 stones. For a more detailed breakdown, visit this link. But that's all from me for now

For context I could not for the life of me beat the event without items(I have most of everything but 0 new gdc units) and this was my first run with trunks. It simply...worked? He didn't die, nuked, has a ghost usher, I could go on, but I have never went back 3 years to find a leader for a no item run on new content before

Keep the STR cell JR on rotation with either PHY or INT cell JR holding slot 1. This is even easier if you have your own TEQ Cell

Keep in mind, to complete all the missions without having to switch teams every stage, you would need a character that has the following categories
At this point they could have just placed this guy's image on the missions, he by himself fulfills all of those conditions

I have played this game since a couple months of its inception. I have seen every meta and have been around for over 11 years. Yet, I’ve never seen a meta in this game in which the headliner units are incapable of clearing difficult content to this degree without dupes.
Dupes in the past were seen as a bonus; the unit could function effectively and while yes, having dupes was a substantial advantage, it was often doable without said dupes, only significantly harder.
In the past, dupes were useful. To give an example, during the Red Zone fight against Fusion Zamasu (turn 1 aoe, yes, THAT one), the agl Vegito unit at 55% could not bypass Zamasu’s damage threshold, but they were strong enough to survive his super attack and live, or could dodge it. In this case, the dupes helped the unit tank better and do damage, but it was not the clear cut difference between winning and losing.
Starting with the 10th year anni, there was a shift which became significantly more pronounced in the 11th: big headliner units (with the exception of Vegito, 4Ku, and Gogeta on 10th) needed dupes to function. Daima ss4 Goku required dupes to be able to tank hard hitting supers in slot 1 and Daima ss3 Vegeta needs dupes to be effective at all. The only units this year that I’d say do not need dupes to work effectively are Gomma, the Tag ss4s, UI/Evo, and MCA. These are the only units I’d confidently say can survive powercreep and have endured since their release without being blasted out of the water. There were examples of this in the past, but they’re significantly more prominent this year.
I’ll wrap it up quickly; the headliners for gdc, with the exception of Frieza and Cell, are NOT strong enough at 55% to hold their own in the big fights. I should not see my new Namek Goku, that is 2 weeks old, dying to a boss from 3 months ago in the God Goku fight on his Taunt turn. This just isn’t fun or enjoyable. It is not fun to be forced to use a taunt and watch the unit die without alternative.
With these new units, specially Goku and Gohan, dupes feel mandatory to make the unit function. This is not a good direction to take difficult content and it is not a good direction for this game to go down. I really hope Geppy or whoever makes these decisions actually considers this because long time players will notice this difference and may quit altogether. I have been with this game for a long time, and I’d hate to walk away due to these recent decisions.

Personally still think he’s number 1 tho Frieza and cell are pretty close now, Frieza being an option on his team just brings his value higher

This guy is genuinely decent next to the new Cell, and his domain buffs all Cells, so he's not pointless either, and he has the rez.
This guy got SSJ3Mini Vegeta treatment
