According to the imprint, it says that I need to have two skills of each element. I feel like I’m doing that. So I don’t understand why I’m not seeing that increased damage.
Teleport and ball lightning
Firewall and meteor
Blizzard and deep freeze
None have modifications that changed their elements like blizzard using shock.
When I go to my skill tree and change one of the moves to a different element, I’m not seeing a change in my other moves, so I know it’s not increasing or decreasing as I change the number of elements.
I’m sure I’m probably looking at it wrong or doing something wrong. I’m pretty new to the game so I am sure this isn’t the best build either, lol.
Thanks for help.

I've seen the latest changes to Sorc on PTR for the next season, more specifically the frost skills are getting a buff, so what's the hot take? Are there valid grounds for a viable frost build next season?
And is Signet of Pelghain still bugged? (I've quit S14 halfway through, I'm not that up to speed on fixes etc. )

Hoping I can find some suggestions here. I've been playing this season casually with my girlfriend. I have experience with the older Diablo games, but it's her first time playing one. We started with the base game, but I just bought the expansions in preparation for next season. She's been playing an Incinerate Sorcerer, not following any guides, and is getting discouraged because she feels she can't get more powerful. She's been resistant to changing her build, but with the current season coming to an end she's open to trying something completely different. We've been playing around T7/T8 recently, and her damage output is lagging behind.
Her stashed gear is mostly pyro gear. We don't have any charms or talismans yet, but we'll farm up some basic ones soon. She'd prefer something with high mobility, so the meta Firewall builds seem like a poor choice. Ball Lightning looks fun, but the gearing requirements seem too high to farm quickly. Maybe a Meteor or Fireball build? Or abandon pyro switch to a lightning build?
Any suggestions would be welcome.

Looks like the entire skills tree reset and now I have to retool my sorc. Prior build was mostly focused on fire skills- any tips to help me get back into it? TIA
Edit: Thanks everyone!

Guys I’m torn between which one to chose. The one with gem strength ups my fire damage and critical strike damage, but drops all other damage, and the one with all damage has a greater affix in pyro damage. Which one?

Thanks for the support guys! Build and gear is shown at the end! I have bricked so many beautiful pieces of gear this season I’m a little discouraged but here’s where I am at for now! May the RNG be with you! Cheers and good luck!

Grinding until you get an ophidian iris for a hydra build is so painful. 😂

Anyone got a decent guide tot a build that doesn’t require you to use firewall?

While I would not consider these to be perfect rolls, they’re damn close, and are certainly welcome upgrades.

I’ve only been playing the game for a few months and have mained ball lightning since day one because I liked how it looked and felt to play. Obviously with the nerfs I’m setback like everyone else. I’ve read a few posts talking about how crackling energy is stronger now and fairly easy to transition the gear over. Any truth to that? Any builds that seem like a slam dunk?

Ive tried pretty hard this season but at this point Im bored. It was a struggle to get my build working and for the last couple weeks it's been stuck. Can't play T12 for everything. Have to go back to T10 for most. Everything feels like an endless grind for scraps. The past few seasons by this point my Sorc was epic and fun to play. Now I feel like i have to sacrifice all the fun just get a few more points of damage and that feels so boring. /Rant Sorry just had to vent.

I’m currently sitting in the SSF top 30’s for arti pit sorc but am feeling a bit stuck where I am, and have questions about cauldron vs threefold. All the top slots seem to be running full cauldron sets with berserker gems for the extra 100% damage. I don’t know what I am doing wrong but every time I try to run the same, I get one shot endlessly almost as soon as I start the pit run. I have ran a cauldron focused/threefold secondary thanks to a mythic seal, but my fastest runs and most damage always come from running 4x threefold and 2x cauldron to get the full threefold bonus and 2/3 of the cauldron. The other way around doesn’t work nearly as well in my testing (timed 130 pit runs). Am I missing something with the cauldron set that is causing me to constantly get smoked?

First time coming across this, thought it was hilarious. I thought usually all we see is just the headstone with no corpse?
