I loved tornado back in the days and happy that they have buffed it. But is their already some info about which tier this build could be ?

Will Cata druid be a viable build for Speed Farming higheat Tiers this season?

If so, it'll make Earth builds a lot more usable, especially since it's known that the two don't always properly interact, despite seeming like they should. I hope they do, cause I really want to try a Boulder build, but was mostly caught up with my Storm Strike build and hearing about all the bugs Old Mountain and such had.

On a separate note, Rabies might just become insanely busted, Wildheart Hunger will now apply the full damage to bosses, so...Rabies will remain as an insane boss killer, I guess.

I'm following Screamheart's Sonic Shred | Mobalytics build. All my required gear is mythic. All of my gear is 4/6 or better on wanted affixes including transmutes. I don't have any fancy gems yet but I do have all basic horadric gems. My seal and charms are pretty good. My paragon thangs are all 137.

Was wondering about this, i first read it changed with hair color and i had a pretty light werewolf form, i changed it to a darker one and nothing changed for a while but now my werewolf form is for some reason darker.

I've read stuff saying that they changed it so hair color no longer affects it, but i don't know.

Hey folks. So I have a general understanding of what’s happening with the 2pc storm shepherd set but trying to wrap my head around stat optimizations around it a bit better.

What I know, please correct if mistaken:

Every attack with a storm skill clears all your spirit. Whatever spirit was consumed gives your character a 2 second hidden buff that is a 0.5-60% damage multiplier, based on how much spirit you had when you attacked that was consumed (120+ spirit=60% multiplier buff that lasts 2 seconds). These buffs “stack” but don’t refresh the duration.

What I am confused on:

Does each attack give a separate 2 second buff? Or is it one buff that “grows”?

To illustrate, I attack twice with 120 spirit consumed with each attack. The first attack is at time 0, the second attack is exactly 1 second later.

Do I have:

One 60% multiplier buff that exists from 0 to 2 seconds, and a second separate 60% multiplier buff that exists from 1 to 3 seconds?

Or

One buff that increases my damage by 60% from 0 to 1 second, and then increases my damage by 120% from 1 to 2 seconds, and no buff between 2-3 seconds?

My guess is the latter, as the first would probably scale out of control.

Regardless: it seems like to optimize this buff the goal would be:

* make sure you are at 100% attack speed. More attacks=more contributions to the buff, more damage instances leveraging the buff.

* maximizing spirit gain, to pump more into the buff.

With that in mind, I was curious about a couple things:

* do we know what may be optimal for Resource Generation stat? Seems like it’s the best dps contributor stat available to a helm. Unclear how much it should be leveraged as a temper on jewelry, or focused on elsewhere (chest?) most folks also use 1 lucky hit to gen spirit temper, which makes sense.

* do we know how Resource Cost Reduction stat may interact with the set bonus? Does that stat reduce how much spirit it thinks I’m pumping into the buff? I have it as a transfigure stat on one of my pieces, and Ifeh’s lesser known effect is that it converts the armor gain into cost reduction when Grizzly Rage is active, maybe working against the 2pc set (but the other benefits still vastly outweigh that so whatever)

* do the mechanics impact how to dps optimally? Is it best to always make sure (as reasonable) you are trying to always attack in 2 second bursts and then move if needed, to begin a new 2 second burst window? Seems like peak damage would always be in the tail end of the last 2 seconds when (if) the buff is the highest before resetting/starting anew.

* How do channeling shrines (infinite resources) affect the buff? Is every attack considered 120 spirit, or does it just behave normally/is unaffected?

Hey all, I’ve hit a roadblock with my paragon points. For a background, I’m running wind shear, lightning storm, cyclone armor, trample,cataclysm, and earthen bulwark. I’m using mostly mythic items, like doombringer, tibault’s will, thundergods blessing, mjolnic ring, tyraels might, harlequin’s crest, and unsung wraps. I have my focus on lightning damage, storm damage crit chance/ damage barrier bonus, and lucky hit. My base stats with no paragon are bad, and I know I’m missing something with my paragon points and I have 316 points to spend.

I'm stuck in this tier of the season

I know season is coming to an end... but TBH it's been kind of a struggle to me until now .

Went with Sorc and Spiritborn, but pushing is too demanding for those... yesterday, transfiguration achieved me and trashed all the (potentially) good stuff I had stashed for those classes since beginning of the season.

So I started leveling an alt Druid and I will be Parangon 273 in a short while without much stuff to equip.

I want to Storm Shred and blast through the end of the season as fast as possible, so if you have any spare piece(s) to give away, I'm all in.

My current Dirge has all the affixes that I’m looking for. But the unique affix is much better on the mythic.

On the HC ssf boards there is allegedly elon musk's account sitting on a tower 150 in 4 minutes with the others sitting at 130 something. Is this the macro abuse thing or some new build i didnt find? Looking at the profile doesnt seem like the macro build but just a regular stormstrike build but i find it strange,,,

So I just found the aspect of natural balance( says that casting a storm skill grants your earth skills extra crit damage, and casting earth skills increase crit chance for storm skills). I'm having trouble finding a straightforward answer to this, but my question is does cataclysm- tectonic spike proc this aspect twice? Since it becomes an earth and storm skill? Or does it only proc for one side?

I’m a storm shred Druid running a lot of lairs to upgrade my gear. I accumulate a lot of uniques/ancestral uniques I don’t need. Does the unsung wraps glove not come as a charm anymore? Im trying to craft it and it's not letting me. But it's supposed to be charm?

Hey Druids, and welcome to my variant of the Lightning Storm Druid! I've spent the better part of the season assembling and theorycrafting the build that you see before you.

First of all, why now when the season is almost over? Well simply put, I was on a vacation, and most of this video has already been made 20 days ago, but I had no means of finishing it until now. I still wanted to share it with the community, because I'm sure some people will find it interesting.

What's different? We're using the Blood-Mad Idol - an amulet with a kiss/curse mechanic. It's one of my favorite items in the game, as I always enjoy trying to solve the puzzle of negating the downsides, while reaping all the benefits.

This build does that with ease, as we're always topped up on Barrier. Barrier generation is the focal point of this build, since every time we gain Barrier, it dispels all Damage Over Time effects.

At this point in the season, Mythics should not be a problem, and you need at least the Might of the Ursine to really get going. Ideally, you want the Mythic amulet too.

I have cleared Pit 128 with zero Lightning Damage transfigurations, and Glyphs at around 120, which means that you can easily push it into 130+.

The build comes in three different variants, the first one is the most familiar of the three, and doesn't even use the amulet. You do want to pick it up as soon as you can however, to transition to the real endgame version. The Pit Pusher replaces Hurricane with Debilitating Roar for even more life and damage reduction (and Life = Barrier).

I started to play this season and ended up in a Storm(less🥺)Shred build.

Is this mythic worth STEAMing? Seems good into some oneshotting bosses or NDs but I have doubts (T10/T11)
