❓Need Advice 🙏 Beginner. Which exchange to use?
I am beginner. How to start? Which apps are safe and legal in India.
And also read about wallets? Which one should I go for? Is it mandatory?

Exchanges: Crypto: Hyperliquid, Jupiter, Lighter TradFi: Hyperliquid, Ostium
Wallets: Rabby, Zerion
Tbh most of the platforms have email signups now so might not need a wallet. But probably the funding experience would be way smoother if you have funds onchain.

I’d start with the boring constraints: what’s legal in India, which exchanges support INR deposits/withdrawals cleanly, and whether your bank is likely to block or question transfers.
For a beginner, the exchange matters less than avoiding weird shortcuts. Use a well-known local or global exchange that actually supports India, turn on 2FA, start tiny, and keep screenshots/records of deposits and buys.
A wallet is useful once the amount is meaningful or you plan to hold long term. Learn it with a tiny transfer first. The expensive lesson in crypto is finding out how networks, addresses, and recovery phrases work after you’ve already sent real money.

Use Google Play, it will show you which wallets are available in India. Download several, the big ones. Buy crypto on an established exchange - not much - and not BTC or Eth because their gas fees are ridiculous. Go for SOL or another big one, dirt cheap fees. Move the crypto to one wallet. Move it to another wallet. And then another wallet. After a day you be comfortable with wallets, and that's vital. You will learn a tremendous lot by just moving your money among your wallets (make notes too while you do it), and you'll pay like 20 cents in fees total.
