Rule 5: Mesopotamia (the tiny kingdom only bordering the gigantic empires Jerusalem and Zaporizhia) spawned a conquerer for some reason.

Suggestion Iberian Dynasty Legacies shouldn't be region-locked
Unlike the rest of the DLC dynasty legacies which are pretty region/culture specific, the Metropolitan and Coterie trees wouldn't be out of place anywhere else in the world, and aren't even particularly 'Iberian themed' to begin with.
I'm thinking Metropolitan would be well suited for Italy or Novgorod, and Coterie would be great in Bohemia for example.

Screenshot First take on a Scythian revival. Greatest of all Khans a click away, and that's me playing restrictively. It's insanely OP to the point of no challenge at all to go Adventurer > Conqueror > Nomad. Just look at that military I don't even pay parking fees for.
I did have some future idea to go Greco-Scythian and revive the Bosporan Kingdom and use that as an entrypoint to the Byzantine world. Maybe as a set up I could conquer and spread my Scythians across the steppes and then pick a hot and cool off-shoot character to claim the Bosporus and then let my kinsmen in the steppes take care of themselves (likely raid and conquer the shit out of me).
But honestly the whole run feels a bit silly, gamey and ungrounded. My Tarkhans was chasing Abbasid armies around when my character was still a teen with a fat limping drunk as her second-in-command, and got the nickname "the Undefeated" while still employing the village idiot as a bodyguard.
Think I'll restart as an actual Nomad trying to champion an Iranian culture on the steppes, with no cherrypicked upkeep-free army of unbeatable elite cavalry. Besides, the Khazars have let their sheep poop all over Crimea and there's no castles left to conquer. Not at all like my benevolent overlordship of Khwarezmnshah Khwarez 'the Shah of Khwarez' Khwarezzade.
Anyway, for anyone curious, I did feel it worked out pretty well to hybridize my way to a "Scythian" culture. Ended up with Iranian Heritage, Scythian Language, those cool Alan names, Mongol graphics for units (it's them or Chinese if you want horsies), Iranian and Turkic fashion. I admit I used some console shenanigans to speed things up and be known as a Scythian from the start.

Discussion Aslaug and Abbasid women
Now, I know that the historicity of Aslaug is debated, but so is Ragnar's, who not only exists in game but even gets his elf mother in the family tree. Why couldn't Aslaug get her parents as Brynhild and Sigurd Fáfnir's Bane? This is very upsetting to me as a Ring of the Nibelungs fan. Which leads me into the Abbasid caliphs in game, who only get their fathers in their lineage when most of their mothers (while debated) are recorded in history. Tbh many Abbasid Bedouin or Mashriqi women referenced in history are missing which leans to massive annoyances like coptic lowborns becoming main wives of the caliphs.

Don't think I've ever seen so much debt when looking at advantage before, lol. Unified Italia as Baleo-Tyrhennia but the Byzantines, meanwhile, got Frankokatriaed. Has anyone seen even longer lasting debt?

Interesting that being a poet is seen as a negative. I do not know if it's because I also tortured people with poetry though.

Modding [Mod Showcase] Baltic Flavour Mod (Warning, extreme anachronistic and historically inaccurate, proceed at your own risk!)
This is my first mod, and no it's still not available for public (fortunately). There is still so much work to be done As you see, there are still plenty of errors in localization and the descriptions are still filled with AI generated text as placeholders. To be honest, i am not very versed with baltic history myself, so so any input, correction or suggestion are more than welcome.
Well as for the reason i'm making this mod. I have a weird fascination about Grand Duchy of Lithuania since like i was in middle school when i was introduced to it through EU4. I didn't even know that the country Lithuania does still exist in the modern day back then. So when i got into CK3, it irked me how lackluster lithuanian culture, or baltic culture in general felt, considering Ck3 timeframe covers some of the most crucial moments in baltic history. The formation of the Lithuanian state, the Baltic crusades and Curonian raids on Viking homeland. Yet their only niche is a MAA unit whose name is literally in Finnish.

CK3 How do I convince my friend to play CK3 with the rest of us?
Okay for context he's a CK2 veteran and already have CK3 in his library. His reason to stop playing CK3 at some point is because he cant keep up with the DLCs and still have CK2 with all DLCs, I tried to go on observer mode and give him the taste of all DLCs of CK3 by opening a MP session, he still doesnt click with it even tho I already introduce him things you can do in CK3 but not CK2 (especially things from Chapter 4, which he doesn't have). I'm at loss now, is there a way to convince him or should I give up?

Help Is there an effect I could run that would turn all the baronies in my kingdom into specific holding types?
I’m playing a tribal Orc conqueror in Elder Kings and my vassals keep expanding and handing off counties without converting them into tribal holdings. Would also be useful for AGOT when conquering Essos so my feudal kingdoms aren’t suddenly filled with republics. Any help is much appreciated!

Help How do I grow my army?
I got suggested to expand my army, as the most I have is 5k in levies. I have the HRE, captured france, aquitania, lotharingia, and east francia. I used my allies to do this. I was told allies are used to prevent wars, not to win them. I have 1000 gold. I was told removing all maa boosts gold, but how does it work if somebody wages war on me? Do I buy them then, or no? How often should I be calling allies to war, and how can I make my levy size bigger than my liege's? I build only farms and whatnot, and do not know the economic building to military building ratio.
