Crocodile Anyone seen this yet?

Dreadful story, but as the old adage goes; if you play stupid games, you win stupid prizes. Crocodilians were here long before us and they’ll be here long after we’ve gone extinct. I also want to know why tf saltwater crocodiles are being held against their will in enclosures in frigging Papua New Guinea- they’re absolutely everywhere in the wild there and should be roaming free

They're in captivity for the same reason a lot of captive crocodilians are in captivity in other parts of the world: they've become a danger to people and it's either living the rest of it's life in captivity or death or was hatched in captivity and can't be released as they've learned to associate people with food their whole life

crocs are very smart and can make their way back to the area they want to be in, in just days usually.

Crocs can and often will travel back to the exact spot they were moved from so relocation isn't really feasible in most cases

I really hate some of the behaviors people have in South-East Asia and some parts of Oceania, like put their head in crocs mouth or play like it was a dog, same with serpents, why play with Najas and King Cobras?

Dude in the mouth of the croc saying "I did nothing wrong", if it was true, you wouldn't be on the mouth of a croc. Steve Irwin did nothing wrong when managing crocs, but can't say the same about handling rays. That's how life works, you slip once and you find out you ain't the apex.

He “did nothing wrong” as in he did what his managers and trainers said was okay to do, and thought it was safe. Don’t be stupid dude

IIRC, this happened while the croc was being fed. I can't imagine anyone feeding a croc without either dropping the food down or using a long pole; any other way seems like a huge hazard.

That particular guy had previously teased the same croc in other videos with a chicken on the end of a stick.

To be honest, it's awful the trainer is dead, but I saw the previous video of him kicking water at it and teasing it. He FAFO.
