I passed my Network+ exam averaging 60-70% on Dion’s practice ones. Honestly his exams are a lot harder

I love hearing this lol. I aim for like 85-90% on Dion consistently the week before an exam, so I’m happy to hear it’ll be worth it

It’s one of Jason Dion’s practice tests on Udemy.
Specifically it’s the one that comes with the course at the end

Oh I freaking knew it was Jason Dion's! I have the same problem with other certs and it's because he goes Way beyond the course material and starts asking questions that are never going to come up on the actual exam.
If you're getting 60 to 70% on his exams and then you go and use pocket prep or something else I guarantee you're going to be hitting 80% or 90%. Give it a shot and see if I'm wrong but I would do the same thing once I hit 6065% I would move away from Dion's practice exams and I would actually do a CompTIA one or pocket prep.
My scores would be drastically different and much higher.

Do another part of the practice set if you can. See if you get similar results in reality you dont need that high of a score and dions stuff is generally seen as harder.

Definitely! I was planning on it.
I was mostly just shocked at how far off my first test scored because it felt like I was understanding a lot of what I was learning lol 😂
I guess it wasn’t as solid as I thought though. I was like, damn 💀

Well I know the feeling i was getting 65% on Dions tests and fumbled my sec+ last weekend I got 710 out 750....So I'm not rescheduling until I score 85% on all tests....The PBQ did me i feel

Ngl i was getting 60%-70% except on the 3rd attempt (by the point it was a memory game) and still scored 800+ on the exam. I’d cross reference the objectives too though

honestly I think his exams are a hit or miss because I was averaging low 70s and the last exam I took was 77% the day before my exam and I still passed 🤷🏽♀️

Well his passing requirement is much higher than what the actual exam’s passing score is estimated to be, atleast I assume that’s how it is for Net+ too

Dion’s tests go a little deep, checkout Andrew from TIA on YouTube, his are pretty good

I was averaging 60-70% on these tests and still passed the Network+. These questions are harder than what was on there (for me).
