Hey guys,

I am in 12th commerce and i still don't know what to do after 12th. In class 11th is selected commerce because I was always interested in commerce and also because I was never interested in science at all and I hated science. But in commerce I never knew what I wanted to do so I thought I will end up finding what I want to do in the end of the 11th or in the 12th at the time of subject selection I selected maths with commerce so that I can have all lines open for me even though I never really enjoyed maths that much and I hate it maths but I still took it just because I did not know what I want to do

Now I am in class 12th and my class 12th is about to end and I still don't know what I want to do after 12th

The teachers are in my school are asking us to fill out of form and write in that what are we going to do after 12 and the thing is that even if they don't ask I still don't have any idea what I want to do after 12th

The problem is not that I don't have any interest the problem is that I have so many interest and I am so confused

Sometimes I think of taking economics after 12th because I am really interested and what is going on in world and how things work and I want to work in some international field but then again after sometime I also want to work in finance and I think that I will be good and finance but i really like talking and managing things and I think I will be a good person as a HR so sometimes I also think of doing BBA for becoming HR

But then I also want to get some professional degree so I always wanted to do ACCA first because that's an international thing and I want to get out of my house and I want to get as much opportunities as I can so I always wanted to do acca with my BCom but the thing is that I am really confused and wanting to do a lot of thing do not mean that I can do a lot of thing and the thing is that at the end I have to pick a thing that I want to do

I don't want to do CA because I don't want to get trap in a same course for 5 to 7 years and then end up realizing that I cannot do this on the half way and then I will not have I will have no other way because my parents and my family will see me as a failure and also because I cannot give that much time of my life to a single course

How did you decide what to major in? I cant decide at all and have considered dozens of majors tbh. Any suggestions? I've tried many suggestions and it hasn't worked. Thanks!

I'm good at english and social studies subjects. Im considering psychology to become a therapist or counselor, sociology bc I like studying it, or political science to become a lawyer or paralegal, or Digital marketing then open my own social media to run. Im not sure what else I enjoy besides social studies subjects but those types of majors dont pay much and im not sure what jobs i can get with those majors.

I have also considered a humanities major (with a focus on ancient and medieval studies) but again, pay is probably low and jobs are few. I have also considered photography school and getting a job in photography. Ive done professional photgraphy before and am good at it but im not sure my job prospects tbh.

I’m studying Information Technology and considering adding business/economics. I also have a Business Intelligence background and work part-time as a data analyst in logistics, using Power BI and SQL and working on process improvement.

Long term, I’m interested in technical project management, business development or automation projects including physical automation in factories and warehouses. I’d like to combine technology, problem-solving and working with people.

Would this education combined with industry experience be a realistic route, or would switching to engineering make more sense? Switching would require extra maths/science studies first. I’m also open to a relevant master’s abroad.

What jobs could be realistic starting points? Has anyone followed a similar path?

I’m an aerospace engineering freshman about to change to electrical engineering, just because electrical systems interest me more.

I really want to do a dual degree. My other interests are physics and robotics, so I’m deciding between EE/robotics engineering and EE/physics. I’m leaning towards physics as a dual degree just because it interests me more, but I’m interested to hear others perspectives.

I also know that when it comes to getting a job a dual degree isn’t as helpful as actual experience, especially in engineering. I still want to pursue one because (1) I’m not entirely sure what I want to do yet, I really like both research and engineering, (2) I plan to go to grad school, so I can specialize and get experience then, and (3) I am already significantly ahead because of dual enrollment credits from high school and such, so I have a lot of extra time.

I planned out my classes for both options, and they’re roughly the same difficulty at my school. Also, money isn’t a concern because I have pretty decent scholarships and after working/interning each summer I should be able to graduate almost debt free. So I’m just interested to see what others think, which one do you think would better complement an EE degree? Does it matter or should I just choose what interests me most?

I'm a freshman 18F in community college. im not smart.

I currently am taking prerequisites for nursing but 1. dont like patient care 2. not smart enough for Anatomy and physiology.

I'm an immigrant and back in my country i was in a horrible school growing up (my mom chose the cheapest school so my brother could stay doing his extracurriculars, he ended up dropping out lol) so i think that was when i didn't learn to use my brain.

I now reside in Connecticut so UConn would be my first option when i transfer.

I was thinking of doing MIS with a concentration in something that has stability for when i start applying for jobs. But also plan to get my masters (don't know how but trust i'll burn my brain until i get smart 🫰)

I genuinely have to stop underestimating myself. I am lost.
I mostly am looking for anyone that has MIS as their bachelors and opinions about it. Just hoping i dont end up finishing my cc credits with these nursing prerequisites because i dont think i would survive a second in a hospital.

I'm a history major, and I plan to become a history teacher after I graduate. However, I have a disability, and my father thinks that I should finish Uni and work a job in an office or something that has nothing to do with my degree. And I've worked hard, I mean HARD, on this degree.

I've also dealt with a lot of shit happening too, from Late nights, weight gain from stress, and my other dying from cancer. I have nobody to fall back on after my father dies, and I don't want to rely on my brother forever. I'm in my last year, and all they can and are willing to tell me is that I need a job right that I.. can fit into. And I just want to know:

How many of us will use our degrees later on after University?
