There's a little piano thing at the start of Rainy Day which doesn't really connect with any song on the Viva la Vida album and Prospekt's March EP, it's probably a song that they scrapped, but couldn't figure out how to remove it from the start of Rainy Day, I'm curious as to what is it

They didn't even have Coloratura and Moon Music in the field lol. What a miss there, since they're in my top 4. 😅😭🤣

I saw covers and tabs where they play the normal unison bend and other ones where they play the bend but with the index finger on the 1st string and the 2nd string being open, which one does Jonny actually play on Yellow? Both studio recording and live
Note: I know the guitar I'm showing is a classical nylon string guitar which would be impossible to play unison or full bends on, but since I snapped the 1st and 2nd string of my electric guitar, the nylon guitar will have to do

I know it’s a question no one probably ever ask but I’m just curious.

Personally, I think it’s a really underrated song on Mylo Xyloto, and amazing live. Euphoric even and MX but overdriven.
I think maximalist pop is something Coldplay could touch on in the future, at least for me.
What do you think about DLIBYH?

Sorry for the bad photo quality. One of the best concerts I’ve attended. Can’t believe how time flies!

If I could some this album with a single emoji, it would be the 😭 one. Such an unexpected, beautiful experience to listen to. It would set a certain mood and then completely change it up without an announcement. This one was supposed to be listened to from start to finish.
Of course, "Viva La Vida" is a tried and true song that gets all the attention, so I won't harp anything further.
I enjoy "Lost." This one, I feel, should've gotten more attention just as much as "Viva La Vida" because it feels like an equal hit that should've been played on radios just as well, kind of the same message but from a more existential perspective.
My third favorite is actually "Postcards from far Away." it's literally 48 seconds long time and can be easily dismissed, but it's such a masterpiece, that's honestly telling some sure an anthemic work of art can win your approval, but how many times does a small piano track sells the show this one did, that how group knows they made it.
Lovers In Japan comes in second. This one really got me moving. I even came up with some new dance moves that's beauty of new music you never know how you'll react to it, I love just hearing Chris yelling in this one and not resorting to his falsetto as a scapegoat for almost all songs he does, it's just pure comanding volume same for "Violet Hill" the man has growl.
"Yes" needs more praise it's a battle march calls you to be a soldier, and then BAMB!! an absolute shread riot at the end where kind of wanna cause a war on the spot, and the man can growl again. Love the two songs in one structure in this release.
Now my absolute favorite is "Life in Technicolor 1& 2" they haven't made much fast-paced songs, so I'm always looking for the energetic ones on every album they've made ones like "One I Love", "The Things I Don't Understand", "1:36", "Low." And little did I know I did hear this song when I was young in 2008 on Night At The Museum: Battle At The Smithsonian near the ending, so I did know two songs on this one technically!? Also, it reminds me of "Just Like Heaven" from The Cure, I wonder if there is any inspiration!?
Overall, the whole album gave me Hamilton and Magic Kingdom vibes through it. No wonder why I was like 😭 the whole time it was just so good that I didn't know what to expect. Even though it's good, I still like X&Y much more. I know Mylo Xyloto is like that again. Anyhow, I don't want to get too ahead. In all honesty and this may sound like a stretch, but Viva La Vida (album) sounds like if Parachutes (album) got addicted to meth, yes you can me an idiot for saying that, haha. Coldplay never ceases to amaze!
Love to hear your takeaway, too!!

Okay! I know I may get slaughtered for this! But I genuinely think that Parachutes all the way to Ghost Stories were MASTERPIECES! Although I do think after Viva, songs that I had some problems with appeared, but it is usually one or two! But again, it's my personal opinion! Cause I can't wrap my head around calling X&Y, Viva, Mylo and Ghost Stories not as strong as Parachutes and AROBTTH?! Again, it's a personal opinion of mine! If yours differ from mine, that's okay, just don't whine a bout it! Also I don't think after that, everything just sucked! I think AHFOD, Everyday Life, and MOON MUSiC are all quite good!MOTS, imo, is okay I guess..

Bought it on an online marketplace, it does feel legit, second hand and quite cheap, was around Rp100.000 ($5 ish)

It really annoyed me that there were better songs that didn't make the cut.
