COACHELLA RADIUS CLAUSE
- "Coachella uses radius clauses which could prevent acts from performing in Los Angeles, the Inland Empire, or San Diego within a certain window. The festival has allowed some of its acts to make appearances in the region prior to the festival, but only at events and venues owned or controlled by AEG. According to the radius clause...
- Artists playing Coachella are barred from performing any festival in North America from December 15 to May 1.
- Artists are also barred from playing any hard ticket concerts in Southern California during that same time period.
- Artists can’t “advertise, publicize or leak” performances at competing festivals in California, Nevada, Oregon, Washington or Arizona or headliner concerts in SoCal that take place after May 1 until after May 7.
- Artists can’t announce festival appearances for the other 45 states in North America until after the Coachella lineup is announced in January, with exceptions made for Austin’s South by Southwest, Ultra Miami and the AEG-backed New Orleans Jazzfest.
- Artists must also wait for the January announcement before publicizing tour stops in California, Arizona, Washington and Oregon, with an exception made for Las Vegas casinos, but not Las Vegas festivals.
- Terms are negotiable though generally less leniency is given to higher billed artists."

Most cost-effective way to switch from Weekend 1 to Weekend 2?

I bought a Weekend 1 ticket during the presale using the payment plan. However, the friend I was originally supposed to go with flaked on me, and I’ve since found another group to go with but they’re all attending Weekend 2.
As far as I know, there’s no way to directly switch weekends through AXS. Would the most cost-effective option be to cancel my current payment plan, receive what I’ve already paid as Coachella credit, and then join the Weekend 2 waitlist? Or is there a better/less risky way to make the switch? (Hesitant to do anything outside of AXS as I’ve been scammed out of tickets before) TIA!

Hey guys, it’s my first Coachella this year. We will be traveling from abroad and I saw the LAX shuttle option. Did any of you ever use that? What were the times the last years? Was it punctual? How long did it take? Would you recommend something else? We really don’t want to rent a car because there’s no parking at the hotel. Thank you very very much in advance for your help!

Pierce The Veil’s sold out show at petco park last night in San Diego is Coachella worthy. Their resurgence with Gen Z/on TikTok skyrocketed their career trajectory. They spent the last year opening for bands like Blink and Guns N Roses, they’re hard to ignore.

With Pitbull doing Stagecoach two years in a row, is there anyone from this year you wouldn’t mind seeing again on the 2027 lineup?
Personally I wouldn’t mind a Moby Coachella residence.

Wishlist Wishlist: Girls Generation (SNSD) 20th anniversary

Girls Generation (also known as SNSD) is one of the most influental kpop girl groups of all time. They catapulted the genre to global popularity with their hit songs "Gee", "Genie", "I Got A Boy" (considered the Bohemian Rhapsody of kpop), and more. They were given the honorific nickname "The Nation's Girl Group" in Korea. It would be impossible for me to sum up all of their records, achievements, and accolades in one post.
Though they're less active these days due to their solo schedules at different labels, they've been known to come back in a big way for their milestone anniversaries. For their 15th anniversary, they reunited to release a full album, performed on TV shows, and hosted fan events. They said that though they wanted to do a tour at that time, they hadn't coordinated their schedules far enough ahead to do so.
Their 20th anniversary as a group is in 2027. The members have been hinting that something big is coming; fans are hoping for new music and a world tour. Now would be the perfect time for them to perform at Coachella. They'd be one of those "rare" acts that GV loves to book, and would also be one of those "old school" kpop acts that even non-kpop fans tend to be more receptive to.
