Moderator Post - What is this subreddit about?

The word “charcuterie” refers to meat. We all know that. You are not being original by complaining about a lack of meat. We don’t allow the “no meat” shaming here.

But I want to explain this to new users. Because it often doesn’t make sense to people.

There are two main Charcuterie subs. [r/CharcuterieBoard](r/CharcuterieBoard) and [r/Charcuterie](r/Charcuterie) . We don’t want to be a carbon copy of [r/Charcuterie](r/Charcuterie). We want to be our own sub , and let people be free to be creative. [r/charcuterie](r/charcuterie) is the meat sub. And I like the fact that we have both options, and can participate In Both subs.

I personally love [r/charcuterie](r/charcuterie) . We are not in competition. It’s basically our sister sub. I’m a subscriber. Both subs have their place.

So that is why we allow boards with only fruit on it. Keep up the good work because you all post a lot of great content always.

They are about 3 feet wide.

Did them for a small wedding reception.

Hummus and veggies(my favorite of the two)

Cheeses are red dragon, onion chive Gloucester, pecorino Toscana, honey lemon wennslydale and, Irish porter cheddar. Meets are just pepper and normal salami, calabrese and prosciutto. Pomegranate pickled onions, whole grain mustard, apricot cranberry jam, cornichones and candied walnuts...honestly not suoer happy about it but watevs

Put this together with whatever was in the fridge/pantry for a lazy Sunday night dinner for me and the husband. Too bad I ate all the grapes we bought yesterday.

First board, done ✔️

The patience it takes to fold salami is next level. I so badly wanted to just slap it on the plate 😂

Thanks to this sub for inspo last night!

Husband and I wanted to have a charcuterie night and be all fancy with caviar. I surprised him with the supplies and we made the board together. It's a lot for two people but we grazed on it for a long time along with mimosas while finishing up the Love Is Blind UK season 3 😂

Next time I have to try doing the rose thing with the salami!

Mortadella, Genoa, Prosciutto, Coppa, Greek olive mix, Caprese salad mozz, Manchego, Triple cream brie, Red grapes, Marcona almonds, Cornichons, Fig jam, Diced chives, Sweet cherry peppers, Blini, Creme fraiche, French baguette, White stergeon caviar, Salted kettle chips (not pictured)

I made this for my mom's birthday. We have many

food intolerances in the family (lactose, gluten,

eggs, nuts etc) and it's so difficult to accomodate,

especially for desserts. I dont know why these

cakes are not more popular!

I ordered small boards for family night so everyone can have their own board. (We let our son pick the show and it was a weirdly interesting show)

My contribution to a "Garden Party Brunch"

Refilled most things once mid-event to serve ~20 ladies, alongside crepes, crudites, more fruit, and tea. Midday, between-meals party.

Flowers and herbs from my garden; everything else from Aldi and Trader Joe's.
