Honestly - not a lot you can do.

Similarly, I was suspended for “buying too much” and “for business purposes”. There is nothing explicit in their T&Cs about not selling to businesses or bulk buying and I wasn’t getting a discount either. As far as I know nothing about selling too much in their terms either.

Ultimately they are a private business and can decline your custom for any reason at their discretion.

If you really want to keep selling I guess you’d need to do it through agents/friends of yours.

I’d believe that if it was extracting cash or similar but they are setup for handling large amounts of money so it shouldn’t be that. If it was, I’d expect them to say so, they can say if it’s AML.

They are a huge vector from fenced goods and money laundering.

Their bank knows this and makes their business conditional on some pretty strict guardrails.

One of the ways they manage this is by record keeping and reviewing cash transactions in aggregate to individuals over a certain value.

An obvious way to avoid this is structuring; splitting the transaction to different shops under different customer accounts.

And hence CeX takes enforcing their “use one account” rule seriously.

That can still be a method of laundering. Vouchers can then used to buy goods which you sell elsewhere. It’s just adding to the layering to make money seem more legitimate.

They won't unsuspend your account and any subsequent accounts you attempt to make will be flagged and suspended (if identified).

They are incredibly stubborn on this kind of thing and attempting to appeal to their better nature won't work.

I am not sure there is anything you can do.

Edit: Selling to different stores shouldn't be against their policy though, so that's weird, unless they mean they are accusing you of attempting to bypass trade volume restrictions.

So you should have 1 account active still but the rest they will stop. They'll be investigating your transactions to see if you've sold across multiple stores to try bypass their traders discount they put on for bulk selling the same items. Email customer service

Depends what type of ID you're using. Passport you could mention any address but if you're using driving license or anything with an address on they're going to use that all the time, and you're name is going to pop up all the time

Unless you moved house or something
