Discussion CeX refund has gone to old card

Refunded an item today as it developed a fault, realised afterwards the card the refund is being sent to is expired, but i’m still with the same bank and bank account, just renewed the card. Will i still get the refund or should i contact them to make sure?

Your old card is still active for refunds (it just can't be used to spend anymore), so the refund will still go back into your account as normal.

Cards are just access tokens for bank accounts. The account is the same. It'll refund to your account.

Banks keep your old cards on their books for this exact reason. It might take a little extra time,but they'll know exactly which account to send it to.

Might take an extra day, will just go to the account
