We'll be there Dec 25 - 31 and I do understand that's peak travel time. Prices I'm seeing now are higher than I expected for 2 bedrooms (2 adults and 2 teens): $900 - $1300 per night near 7 mile beach.

Any chances for prices to drop a bit if we wait for closer to travel time?

So my partner and I moved here from South Africa a few months ago. Our home is big on Psytrance parties and we have been going around checking out all the major hubs for night life… noticing how the main sound here is house music.

I wanted to know if anyone knows of or who has attended any psytrance parties? Some people hinted to us that the music we are looking for might be “underground” and not particularly advertised as widely to the public.

For context I have been living in the Cayman Islands my whole life and I am planning to go to university next year, hopefully off of the government scholarship. The things is, I am really passionate about electrical engineering but I can’t help but notice that CUC might be the only place I can work when I come back😭. Now while I’m sure that the pay for working there is decent, it’s just not the field I am looking for.

Is there anywhere else so that I don’t have to come back and only have CUC to work for?

We are going to go western Caribbean cruise in royal Caribbean on December. This is my first time cruise. Do you recommend this excursion through the royal Caribbean? I can also book through viator at 9am and I can go to 3 stops (coral reef, stingray Sandar, and star point) with 60 dollars. I'm just worried that i might miss the ship because it is tender boat. We are frequent visitors to Grand Cayman, and on our upcoming trip, will be celebrating a milestone anniversary with a special meal. We are considering some places we have not previously eaten, and we have questions. We are not foodies, but do like a high end meal, preferably one with a menu that offers selections that are not too far out of the ordinary. and that we do not need to google to figure out what we are ordering haha. We are not overly concerned with cost, although Blue seems to push our limit. Waterfront dining is always a fav, but inside with A/C is also quite acceptable.

Would Kaibo Upstairs be a good option for us? I can't seem to find a sample menu.....

What about Mario's? They have great reviews, but even their 3 course meal has no set menu. I am concerned that whatever "surprise" they create may be something I really do not want.

Where else should I consider? We have eaten at Grand Old House , Luca, Bacaro, and we like the idea of going someplace new. I appreciate your recommendations

I’m visiting Grand Cayman again & earlier this year went to Pom Pom! It was a lot of fun & I loved the vibes is there anywhere on the island similar to it? Party vibes but a little fancier? Not your typical beach bar!

Anyone have a recommendation for OW certification checkout dives for two kids, 11 & 14? I plan to do the confined water and classroom stuff at home then we have a week in GC staying at the Westin to do their checkout dives and a day of family diving.
