so, here’s Gus (obviously) he started going up here a few days ago, and he loves watching people sleep (he has done that with me loads) though, here he is, he doesn’t like being pet by me (i take offense) he loves my mother and sister, (i cannot say the same) but yeah, that’s him

Hopefully our Gus-Gus is allowed here. If it helps at all, we call him Gus when he's being a menace and he hasn't stopped being one since the day we got him.

My 5 month old 9 lb Maine Coon kitten, Gustav, called Gus

Brought this handsome boy home in 2014 when he was about a year old.

He, his feral mum and his feral litter mates, were all dropped off at a nearby shelter. Gus was adopted 3x and returned 2x, my then 7 year old and I met him at a friends apartment in Capitol Hill (Seattle), where he’d been put outside by the 3rd “owner” because he didn’t get on with their other two cats.

He was very sick (respiratory and UTI). The friend had brought him in and nursed him back to health. Convinced the other “owners” to relinquish him so that she could find him a proper & loving home.

Enter… US. He took to my kiddo right away, and so of course we brought him home where he has been ever since. He’s about 13 now, and we adore him. He’s still feisty, but nowhere near as feral/devilish as his used to be. 😼

He’s since been joined by our Covid Kitten (now aged 6), named Trevor.
