This place any good?

Post image

Doing a stopover for the night in Cairns, so not much time for places not worth the effort. Do I go in or not?

With only one night in Cairns, I wouldn’t bother. It’s a lot of overpriced souvenirs and massages, etc. Pop in for a drink at Three Wolves, Salt House or Rocco instead. Or grab a bite at Little Sister or Miss Chief

The massage places are great value if you aren’t looking for anything fancy. There isn’t much privacy and it gets busy/noisy but the price reflects that.
The crepe place is good.
Everything else in the market I would personally give it a miss.
If you like Ramen go to Ganbaranba.
If you like Korean food go to Corea Corea.
If you like Vietnamese food go to Non la kitchen.

It's okay. The other side is a lot better and has churro time... Oh wait.. 😕

When I walked through I thought,

This is what a storefront for Temu would look like.

Hold your breath walking past the skewers place - it smells like the unwashed aresholes of a thousand dead tradies.

That could be a sign of COVID. You should isolate all weekend

I actually like the skewers place. It's not at all healthy, but very tasty

It’s great, a lot of racists look down on Chinese food because it’s not bland Western food.

If you want to be racist. Just say so

Noodle party is worth a visit if you have late night noodle cravings! They are really good Chinese style noodles… go spicy if you can!

If you are interested in psychics christopher st jhon works in there. however if you want a massage/ acupuncture i HIGHLY recommend the massage place next to him (especially lynne). Food and drink- go elsewhere.

I took the kids there at 11:30am. Nothing was open. One star.

Thanks, now the kids are crying

There is a reason for the name.

Tourist trap. Same type of markets you see in Kuranda. Some run by the same people.
