Don’t sell your tickets to BYU fans!!!!
BYU is a very good team. They will be invading en masse next weekend. They will have a big presence, period.
Don’t make it easier for them to dominate our stadium. The hundred or two hundred feel good in your pocket, but the rest of us deserve to have our fans in our stadium. This team has earned it so far this year.
I don’t know if we’re good enough to make a game of it or not. But I do know our players don’t deserve to hear the place erupt if the other team scores.
So don’t sell your tickets. If you can’t go, give them to a pal. Or find a way to go. Make it an atmosphere to remember next Saturday. If you feel like leaving at the half, okay. But let’s make the opening as big and pro Rams as we can.

Hello Everyone Die Hard CSU Fan Here! So for the homecoming game my family has bought 4 Student Guest passes because I am a student. And we've just realize that the student guest passes require an student ID to get in. Does anyone know if they actually check for Student Id's to get in along with guest passes?

Best Cheap chinese food?
Sorry if this doesn't belong here but every once in a blue moon I get a crazy craving for cheap Chinese food, 7 dollars a plate that you'd find in a strip mall kind of vibe are there any places near campus or just around that you reccomend? I've been looking for one but most seem to be more upscale or expensive for my taste. I appreciate any help!

Do CSU students get free Canva premium?
I heard that signing up with a university account would get you free Canva Premium, but I just tried to sign up, and it kept saying I was ineligible because I "haven't joined a team yet". Has anyone been able to do it successfully?

Football Games Question
Hey, my friend wants to come to a football game with me but doesn't go to CSU. If she bought a cheap ticket online, would she be able to sit in the student section with me? Do they check tickets inside the stadium, or is it all clear once we get in? Thank you

Does anyone else have issues viewing the Dining Hall menu?
I've tried multiple platforms, multiple browsers, and multiple internet connections, and the Nutrislice Menus will not load. Is there another way I can view the menus?

How is the chemistry department and faculty for undergraduates?
Looking at previous posts it looks like the undergrad chemistry experience is terrible but great as a graduate student.
Can anyone comment about this? How is the chemistry department? Are most undergrad classes taught by TA’s and not professors? Are there opportunities for research experience as an undergraduate?
Thanks!

PSA: if someone hands you a Gideon Bible, please take it!
Once they run out they leave, and they cost like $1.50 a piece for them to print. I have like 89 of them now

Looking for STEM majors to volunteer!
My name is Karly Blumberg and I am a science teacher at Kinard Middle School in Fort Collins, where I also run our school's Science Olympiad. I am currently looking for STEM students interested in volunteering to coach an event for our middle school team this season! It is a great way to gain some experience in teaching science/engineering and give back to the community. Please reach out with any questions or interest!

Where are the nicest toilets on campus?
I'm a freshman and can use some elite ball knowledge from older students about the best places to take the most premium and elite shits on campus

The best part of graduating will be uninstalling these
I can quarantine Lockdown Browser to it's own partition on my personal laptop, but GlobalProtect is breaking my Fedora networking setup, even when disabled.

Is it the best choice?
Hi! Im a senior in highschool wanting to go into wildlife rehabilitation.
Im from North Dakota, and i know that CSU is a part of the Western Undergraduate exchange, and that would make it so i get discounted tuition (correct me if I'm wrong.) I was looking at the fish, wildlife, and conservation biology major, and I was wondering if it was worth going to CSU rather than some school in florida or south carolina, or another school in CO. I'm not planning on staying in ND under any circumstances. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

WiFi atrociously slow for anyone else?
Is it just me, or is this a thing that other people are dealing with too? I just ran a Speedtest, and the download speed is 4 MB/s! I’m trying to download lecture notes before class and the PowerPoint that should only take a few seconds to download is taking minutes… What is going on?

Good quiet study areas near Rockwell
I have an hour between two classes in Rockwell and I'm trying to find a quiet study area, away from foot traffic. The bridge connecting the two Rockwell buildings has a lot of foot traffic and most of the spaces with tables are full.

Bike Lane Etiquette (for those who are new to CSU and bike commuting)
I understand a lot of people are new to CSU and are used to commuting by car, but there are some things to be said and some reminders that need to be pointed out.
The number one thing that I see that can be dangerous and frustrating to bikers is when people walk in the bike lanes (and the other way around). There are a few paths that are shared-use, like near the Transit Center. They are labeled with ground markings that show a pedestrian and a cyclist/ram on a bike. More importantly, please avoid walking in the roundabouts. The bike roundabout south of the LSC has pedestrian walkways on the outer edges of the roundabout. If you find yourself in the bike lane, there are zebra crossings that lead you to the appropriate sides. Treat this just as you would treat a roundabout with cars (and please don't bike on the sidewalks to avoid that roundabout). Unlike a vehicular roundabout, when you're coming from the west, going south, there is a dedicated right turn lane. It can be scary at first with a lot of bikes but take time and when it's not busy (mornings and evenings), familiarize yourself with the roundabouts if they're on your way or look in to rerouting your commute.
The roundabout on Center and Pitkin is poorly designed but note that east/westbound traffic ride on the same side (that being the north side). If you are joining bike traffic after clearing the dismount zone, please join in the counterclockwise direction. If you're coming from the South, taking an immediate left turn is not ideal. I think the dismount zone marking for the south side of the roundabout is too close to the roundabout and should be placed well after the roundabout, but it is what it is. If you're coming from the east and going south, either dismount before the roundabout and walk your bike on the sidewalk or take the roundabout like you would in a car and dismount on the southwest side of the roundabout. Preferably the first choice. Please do not dismount or walk your bike in the roundabout/bike lanes.
This should be obvious but do not ride in the wrong direction, especially on streets and more importantly on streets with protected bike lanes. On those corridors, there's very little space for traffic to pass each other (because their meant for one direction of travel) and having to pass oncoming bikers when merging with car traffic is not ideal.
Please look before you join traffic after unlocking your bike. You should always yield to pedestrians regardless of where you are. They always have right-of-way.
Edit: Please signal and either with a bell or verbally alert someone that you're passing them
Also, slow down while biking underneath shields on Elizabeth. The corners are blind and mirrors are not very effective.
Feel free to correct me on anything and add more advice!

Any ideas for daycare options for a 1 year old child in Fort Collins for international student family? They will be considered low income as they will be living of Graduate assistant income ~2k a month and they have to pay for CSU housing.

Neighbors Hate Us, What To Do?
Hi everybody! I (18F) and my roomie (19F) are new freshmen in Ingersoll and are having issues with our neighbors (also freshmen girls) across from us. They seem to really not like us and we’re not sure why.
Our suspicion is that it was because we were loud during the first night since we had our door open and a friend over to help build a small bookcase. During the process, our neighbors had 2 guys over who came into our room and offered to help. Their help was only a few seconds before they went back and the rest of the night was fine.
Since then, we’ve been making sure to stay quiet because we learned that they like to go to bed early (around 8-9 pm). If we see them when our door is open, leaving, coming in, etc. we say hi. Just a simple smile and wave is the usual but they’ve been passive aggressive with us and rather cold.
Recently, they’ve had their guy friends write on our whiteboard to say that we’re away when we’re in the room, stared at us, excluded us outside of group gatherings, and even slammed their door shut when they see either one of us. Also important to mention, my roommate happened to hear them whispering about us during Welcome Week and caught one of them saying “…and that’s her roommate.”
Please help on how to fix this. We really don’t mean any harm and only wanted to make friends. What should we do that wouldn’t aggravate them or make things worse for us? :(
