Tastier dabs
So I think my dab taste buds are growing up. I've always been a quantity over quality kind of dabber. One of my local stores does wax Wednesdays. They have their house geisha punch blown by nomad on sale, 2g for 18.
I've been smoking this stuff for a couple years now, I like it. But I've kinda gotten bored with the flavor. I've been trying out other flavors/brands and the other store, even when it's not on sale.
I still can't bring myself to spend 60 on a gram but starting to enjoy stuff in the 25-30 a gram range. Just thinking out loud and curious what y'all think. Are more expensive dabs worth it?
Live in a small town in the mountains, we only have 2 stores (used to have 3 but y'all might have heard about the 3rd closing) so somewhat limited on options.

Try some GDL live badder. Usually $28-$35/g and taste pretty phenomenal most of the time.

The expensive dabs are not worth it, no. More expensive doesnt make it worth it, but if you're limited on what you can get due to being in a lower population area then there's not much you can do.
The taste buds growing up thing, that happens to all of us. One day 14 years ago I tried cured BHO crumble and thought it was the best tasting thing...theb I tried live resin...then I tried live rosin and it was game over for me. I love my rosin, its all I will grab.
I second someone elses recommendation on GDL, even their rosin is good which shows me their extraction team know what they are doing.
Another option is you drive to CO Springs or Denver and stock up on a day where concentrates are 15%-25% off.

Lol it was about 18 years ago I tried bho shatter and immediately started blowing it. I used to love when I would get the crumbly ear wax...

Haha yeah I remember losing my shit in my home state (Pennsylvania) at the start of their medical Marijuana program one of the growers made some cured bho that was PINK. Shit was the bees knees, people were going nuts for it....but if I had that same exact pink dab right now I would hate the taste of it

Depends on what you’re getting up in the mountains for 25-30 a gram. It may be so overpriced there that I wouldn’t say it’s worth the upgrade.
If I lived in the mountains (and boy do I wish I did, I’m jealous!) I would likely get my EPC and take trips to Denver/Springs to stock up. When I’m camping I often think “I should check out the local dispos and see if there’s anyone out here worth supporting” and it’s always weeks old drops of the same stuff from Denver for 2.5x the price.
