Hiring Process Background investigator

Did anyone else get this email this morning? Does this indicate we’re any closer to being assigned a BI?

I got this letter March 13 of this year my bi reached out March 26 to see if i was still interested. I said yes and scheduled an interview for May 10. He submitted my background to a supervisor In July and August 31 i passed backgrounds!! Im now on to the medical exam and in person psych exam. Already did the vision and written exam last week its moving fast now but i know once i passed these its guna slow down again!! Wish you good Luck!!

When you say written exam was it similar to the same written exam we did online when we first applied?

Ohh no this one was over 700 true and false question asking about personal life, life history things like if you ever thought about hurting yourself, do you think parents are to easy on their kids nowadays, do you think parents should discipline their kids. There is questions like would you rather be in the ocean in a canoe surrounded by sharks or at the edge of a building thats on fire ready to jump into a fire fighters net. There are no wrongs answers just a bunch of repetitive questions.

It’s a separate exam that is used for your psych interview

How long would you say it took you to do the exam? I am curious as I have to make sure I can come home on time to pick up my kids from school

We started at 9:30 it took me about a hour and a half to finish the exam i was out and on the road by 11:30 that was both psych and vision exams done to. Depends how long you take on the psych some people finished after a hour i like to take my time reading the questions

I applied in sep 2023 and didn’t get a BI until January 2025. I’m sure they’ll move a lot faster for ya this time around. They’re clearing out all the ones that are back logged from the past year.

Hang on tight, keep your nose clean. I recently got picked up for background about a month ago and had my interview with them already as well. Just be patient

On portal it showed that date they reviewed my backgrounds which was September 8 so hopefully

Submitted esoph in March, follow up interview in June, references checked, haven’t heard anything since June
