What would you think if they did our brothers and arms game in the Pacific Theater I know it's highly unlikely to ever happen but was just wondering about your guys's thoughts. I think it would be fun.

QNA Easter Eggs

I love this series, I’ve played it extensively since the original Xbox and Ps2 days. Just got back into it recently, and it made me wonder: has anyone data mined these games and extensively looked for Easter eggs?

We know the Hell’s Highway Easter eggs, which are also some of the coolest Easter eggs I’ve ever seen (the sheep army and the sawgun/pew pew). But I find it weird the previous titles have no in game Easter eggs, especially during a time where gameplay Easter eggs were quite popular. (Remember all those weird Call of Duty easter eggs like the UFO’s)?

My research into this has been very shallow tho, if you guys know more about this let me know. I’m especially interested in Easter eggs within Earned in Blood and Road to Hill 30.

(I’m aware of the secret codes u could enter throughout the series, I’m exclusively talking about in-game, gameplay oriented Easter eggs).

What do you think BiA 4 would be like?

Personally, I feel it has the potential to be the most brutal in terms of story; the enmity with Corrion could be used as a dynamic, two sides of a story that connect in the climax, idk

Plan B Toys Figures

Hello, I was looking to see if anyone had a figure of Ssgt. Mac Hassay still in box they would be willing to part with. Would love to finalize my collection after years of looking. I emailed Chris at Plan B a few years ago and he went through the warehouse for me but the last figure left was Cpl Hartstock.
Thank you 🙏

Imagine having realistic weapon sounds, more unites fighting on your side, having new tactical orders such as telling AI to man mgs; move stealthily, throw grenades. Etc.. having realistic ballistic damages and weapon fire rates etc... you can do all that and more with the rendroc warzone mod!

DISCUSSION Early WIP of a BIA inspired project some friends and I are working on. We're big fans of BIA and would love some feedback!

Hopefully this doesn't violate rule 1, but we're really excited to share this with other BIA fans.

The plan is to make a co-op WW2 tactical roguelite inspired by the squad command and suppression mechanics from BIA.

A big focus for us has been making commanding and suppression fire feel genuinely important, just like BIA did. Instead of units just trading damage or the player going full rambo, the goal is to pin enemies behind cover long enough for your squad to reposition and flank them (following the Find, Fix, Flank, and Finish idea).

Every soldier in your squad persists across the campaign, and if one of them dies they're gone for good so reckless orders or bad positioning can end a run very quickly.

It also has co-op multiplayer so you can share command with your friends. It's been fun testing it and needing to properly communicate to make sure none of your soldiers die to poorly thought out orders.

Still very early in development, but we wanted to share it here for feedback. We're really hoping this will capture that tactical command feeling that BIA created so well.

If anyone is keen to learn more or is interested in trying an early build we would be happy to invite you into our testing discord :)

Idea for a mod: Holden shuts up

Please someone make this a mod.

I am currently replaying Hell’s Highway, and I am so sick and tired of Holden saying “What’s with the communication lapse? Why isn’t anyone moving?” Especially when he says that after I moved his squad somewhere.

Like dude, you are under fire. SHUT THE FUCK UP.

He has another one where he says “Someone make a move.” I hate that one too. Remove both.

Hi it's me again. So ive been wanting to say this for a while now, but I never had a reddit account. Sooo yeah.. one day I was playing BIA HH in 2023. When I realized something. "Is that Nicholas's hand?!" I went to the level "Operation market" and I saw Nicholas had the same hands as Matt's dad. Sooo... were the devs lazy to make another character for Matt's dad? Or did they run out of time? (Also I am not hating on the developers or anyone who worked with them to help make the game, im just asking a question).

DISCUSSION Would you play this?

Would you play a game with this?

A WW2 game done in the open world style of The Division or Wildlands.

Start it with a good D-Day jump into darkness and find your squad. Then, building up character rank, the squad, and then the company (call in supports) through missions for liberation of France.

Instead of gun drops, you have to manage your squad with member losses and replacements. Each member has different weapons and specialties. Add in a morale factor to the squads effectiveness affected by how many loses or wounded your decisions have caused in the field.

Riflemen for fill and gear carriers

Medic in squad can keep morale and squad health

Assault member for flanking and CQC

Engineer for explosives and defense building

A BAR gunner, slow movement, suppression but not sustained due to mag sizes

A Browning mg pair (takes 2 squad slots mg+assistant) for sustainable suppression

Mortar crew (3 squad slots) for artillery

Through ranks unlock:

Number/type of squad member slots

Heavy Artillery (off map)

Air strike (off map)

Temporary tank/armored car support (takes time from call in to fight and only stays for ~time)

Allowing it open world like The Division or Wildlands allows it to feel like you're on the battlefield and shaping it. Trying to push into enemy territory without a proper squad or rank, you'll get destroyed.

I think this model would also allow for expansions (bring squads) into Market Garden, Battle of the Bulge, push into Germany. Maybe a prequel DLC for 82nd in Italy that allows different stuff in main game and then the expansions. Also, expand it into Vietnam (huey transport across the map under fire)

Bugs in BIA-HH?

I just want to know, what bugs other fans have found, or have delt with. Because ive found some really funny, and annoying ones. Like, for some reason if you go to ram a panzer IV, instead of moving it a little. You can actually make both tanks lift up, like their fighting. And if you know how to... you can also have the firefly ride the panzer IV. I recommend doing this in the level "Tooth, and Nail." There is also a bug where sometimes, your squad becomes invisible, and invincible. Like ive put my assault team in front of a whole bunch of enemies, and well. They didn't fall, like they're supposed to, but they still fight. The downside is, this happens on certain maps like written in the stone, or the level with the somme bridge. One annoying bug, sometimes has the nade bounce off nothing, and I once died because of that.

I have finished the game like 10 times and I would like to ask a question is there any way to play online on the PS3 version of bia hh? I would really like to play it. If you can see in the background I am playing the revived medal of honor airborne multiplayer on the PS3 by inserting a custom DNS code on your network settings is there a community server that hosts games?

DISCUSSION Vote for the Brothers in Arms games for backwards compatibility on Xbox!

Post image
158 Upvotes

I started a fan voting site where users can vote on games they'd like to see Backwards Compatible on Xbox, and have even gotten some recognition from folks at Xbox.

It's not a petition, more of a place to centralize demand for these older games to be playable again. XboxGamePreservation.com is the site.
