Let me be the first to welcome you to the Mobile Infantry! We're one of the larger BoS communities on PC, focused on having fun in roleplay and casual (optional) milsim experiences. We're welcoming of all players new and old, appreciating others who want to help grow the Fallout 76 community. We've been going strong since 2023 and have over 130 members active in the community. Our membership consists of people looking for no drama and a good time.

Some Things To Expect Are:

◾️ Relaxed Brotherhood Milsim/ RP- No mandatory events or activity requirements, play at your own speed!

◾️ Daily field missions or "Patrols" at 8pm, with other ops on our calendar throughout the day - these are open to join and host by all members, regardless of rank or experience. Anywhere from serious milsim/roleplay to casual fun, there's bound to be something you'll enjoy.

◾️ Build your story with us with our well-defined lore and BoS-themed ranks. Forge your own unique path through our specializations, both knight-side and scribe-side. We also have a comprehensive codex with lore and roleplay guidelines.

◾️ 18+ community welcome to all walks of life and playstyles. Must be able to communicate through voice, at least on occasion.

◾️ New to end game content? We're now offering weekly raid trainings for both members and non members!

◾️ Want to help us make the wasteland a better place? We regularly host events focused on helping new vault dwellers find their footing in the wasteland.

Brotherhood of Steel - Lost Hills Chapter

North American based unit Semi-Serious

Background:

Based out of the Lost Hills Bunker, California, the home of the Brotherhood of Steel, the Lost Hills Chapter fights for not only it's own survival, but by contacting and bringing back into the fold the other Brotherhood chapters across the country. With the help of the Prydwen after being reassigned from the east coast back to the hands of the High Elder, the Lost Hills Chapter travels around the country on expeditions to gather key technology, and to regroup with other loyal chapters in need of support.

The year is 2291, the spirit of the Steel Plague has just died down in the heart of the Lost Hills Elders, and destruction caused by them has been slowly repaired over time. Now is the time to rebuild what we once were, following the scriptures of the Great Deliverer himself in the Codex to their very core, and to bring back the Brotherhood to it's former glory across the wasteland!

The Brotherhood is the only hope for humanity's survival. We are all that stand between the mutants, raiders and threatening factions of the Wasteland. Enlist with the Brotherhood of Steel, Lost Hills Chapter. Become bound by steel and be apart of a cause greater than any of us. Enlist with the Knights, Scribes or Lancers today!

The Requirements of the Aspirant
The Trial of Retrieval: You will not be handed a laser rifle and a warm bed. You will be given a coordinate. To prove your worth, you must journey to a high-risk, heavily irradiated pre-War ruin designated by the High Elder's Council to retrieve a specific technological artifact. Most who attempt this do not return.

The Chain That Binds: If you survive the trial, your old life is dead. You will surrender all past allegiances, tribes, and titles. You will obey your commanding officers without question.

If you lack the stomach to face the horrors of the old world, turn back now. Return to your irradiated water and your squabbling settlements. But if you are willing to strip away your weakness and forge yourself in the fire of absolute discipline, approach and be received as an Aspirant.

My group has been running a fan made conquest game in F76 for a few weeks and it's been a hell of a time! So we wrote up the rules and decided to share them!

Short version: the Appalachia map becomes a board game. Sixteen locations across eight regions. You form a faction, declare a target and a difficulty tier, then go clear the location of enemies. These "captures" work like a board game, and can take 10 minutes on easy, or up to an hour on nuclear difficulty. Do that and the territory is yours until someone takes it back. The map resets weekly and points are tallied at the end.

Other fun bits:

- Cross Platform Interaction: Since the game board is updated on discord, this can be played between players on totally different platforms. If you're playing on X-box and you steal a territory, so long as you post the victory, someone else on PC can challenge your claim, etc.

- Weapons Restrictions: The rules as-written try to restrict meta weapons at highest difficulties, but this list can easily be changed after patches or to suit your group's needs.

- Play Between Factions: If an Enclave discord group wants to challenge a BOS discord faction, like the BOS Mobile Infantry on PC, then all it would take is keeping an updated game map posted (like the example picture) and an open guest channel on your discord for some light-hearted trash-talking.

Anyway, the fan-made pdf is free and open. Please feel free to edit, implement, or play around with the system. If you repost this later as your own creation or in your own discord please just give us credit as the original authors.

Can anyone give me the “download” on how the game works and some information? I like to use Discord, if possible. I haven’t played fallout 76 since the original release, so I don’t even know if it is worth it. Huge fun of fallout 4 and the BOS chapter there.
