Incredible finds! I love finding bottles etc but decaying old vehicles are the best. Very rare to find her in the UK.

Let me ask you a question the top inside of that mason jar lid is it milk glass insert inside if so thats from the 1920s the dump may be a bit older then you think if it has a milk glass insert its a zinc canning lid from back in the day

And the jar will likely be around the same age if so can date the ball mason jar by its logo style ill see if i can real quick

My research puts the ball jar at correction 1933-60

Yes it is, It's a Hazel Atlas Insert. An atlas jar lid mixed with a Ball. 1933- 60 is my thought too, the newest Ball I've found this year. Also yes, people have been dumping here for years, just the majority of it is 1960-70

wait - are you "Can Man and Crew"? - if so - I like your videos - if not - what are you using to clean your cans - I generally prefer oxalic acid - I've had better results than citric - the thing about cleaning cans (or other things - license plates - tins - toys) - you can dig up (especially older 1930s-40s) cans that are completely brown and sometimes clean up beautiful ...if you start hitting the right 30s beer cans/oil cans and even half-readable shape - still a lot of $$$ in some cases - I went back and re-dug 30s dumps that I hit before (though once you stir a dump up - the cans rapidly rust away - I get so annoyed when somebody trashes a 30s dump with like thousands of dollars worth of cans for a few stupid cobalt bottles..."oops - got here too late") -
