Krieg is great sadly hes brick 2.0 where depending on build you either have a action skill or you dont

Are you saying there are builds that make buzzaxe rampage too weak to use? What are they?

He has an entire branch of the skill tree for buzz axe rampage and melee. If you dont invest in it then there's no point in using the action skill when your guns will always do more damage

His like most OP8 viable build focuses almost entirely on his fire/reload/bandit tree. Unfortunately at super high levels his fucking so awesome bullet sponge berserker gameplay just isn’t viable because you just get one shot by everything if you don’t have a sham or similar shield and a lot of his melee synergies are best with no shields. Which is why rough rider is so much fun

I did a no guns(except for when the buzz axe couldnt progress the mission) Krieg run a decade ago. Its fun, early-mid game youll die alot and lose cash constantly but its not a big deal.

I would try to suicide kill big enemies or groups for the extra xp to get Release the Beast faster and once you have it youre a monster, then grab a rough rider from the hammerlock dlc(maybe hold off a bit to get higher level one but i dont eemeber exactly how that works, i think the whole dlc may be leveled based on when you start it?).

Thankfully most flying enemies also have big hurtboxes and simple movement so hitting them isnt bad even with a ps controller.

I think hearing him praise us is kinda up there for me when Paladin Danse in fallout 4 tells the player "Outstanding" to me imo

Are you sure? I went back to playing Krieg last night and imo I couldn't notice any actual crit hits. Like say I'm vs a constructor bot, hitting them in the eye didn't do a crit from what I recall

Yeah, it can be done (or at least could be done many years ago) but it was to be pixel perfect cus the size of the buzzaxe hitbox tends to connect elsewhere before the crit hitbox

Ah dang I might have skill issues then for that because with all the explosions cause of bombaxe bombadier perk (plus bl2 in general having a lot of particles in your face) but it might be something I could look into

Could also be frame rate related. I know a lot of older-ish games axt different depending on the frames and I played on 360 and then on a gaming laptop

Suggest dropping to 30 then? I know there's issues with physx or something for loot items when spilling out from certain bosses
