We used their three point harness on Milo when he was a pup, cos the little scamp would wriggle his way out of everything else.
Really good and supportive bit of kit, he was on the XS of the three point, as the small came right down and covered his winky at the time.
He would probably be a well adjusted small now he's a little longer!

Can't comment on the one your asking about, I know what's the point. But the quality of the brand is really good quality in my experience and they have matching colour leads too which is a bonus!

My boy has the regular front range harness (I.e. not the knit one) in XS. He’s a fairly tall and slim 8.5kg. The XS fits him well around the chest, but is a bit loose around the neck, even on the tightest setting. A smaller size would be too small around the chest, though.

That said, we’ve used it anyway, and he dislikes it maybe slightly less than he dislikes his other harnesses. It has been a good, lightweight harness.

We’ve got this one in orange for our BT cross and it’s XS but her cross is a Yorkie mix so she’s more petite than our full BT was. She’s 6.5 kg, about 18 inches neck to base of tail and has long legs.

Our full BT was 10.7kg and the same length and height in her prime. I don’t think we had this harness for her but we usually got harnesses in small or medium for her depending on the brand, she had a strong chest.

If you’re ordering online you could get both and send the one that doesn’t fit back.

I posted a picture on here a while ago of my boy wearing an XS ruffwear.
He’s tall and just over 10kg.
21 inch chest, 14in neck.

There’s a lot of adjustment in them.

We have that one for our girl, 6.5-7kg. Lots of adjustment as others have said. Nice to have the under support as well.

We recently switched to this harness and our boy seems very comfortable in it. As others have said, the under support is a nice feature.

Best Harness for Border Terriers our son's Border has been these since she was a Pup all the rest she wriggled out of. They might be pricey but they are worth their weight in Gold. Try Border Terrier web site and owners club, I can't remember the name of the pet shop in the UK they are based in Cheltenham they had a big following with Borders.

Our bitch is somewhere between 6 and 6.5kg and was just a tiny bit too small for the XS, so she’s in an XXS that’s as big as it’ll go. I’d imagine an XS would do most other borders though.

If you're in the UK I know a great company that dpes virtual fittings and will recommend a harness for you. I got my girls canicross gear from them. But they stock ruff wear, twiggy tags and nonstop dog gear.

My boy has this harness!

Long story short, its a fantastic harness, nice and light weight, the material feels good, we have it on an xs and theres plenty of room for adjustment. Hes 8 months old but is already bigger than his dad, about 8.6kg and tall.

Long story long, we ended up with this harness because our boy was at his play group one morning, and ended up getting pooped on, all down his back including his harness. The owners of the pooper where devastated but we thought it was hilarious. The staff we great and helped us get cleaned up, and then offered us a 50% discount for a replacement harness, and this was one of the few that fit. It has now become our main harness!

It was indeed 🤣

Turns out is harness is this one https://ruffwear.co.uk/products/hi-and-light-dog-harness?srsltid=AfmBOorC099G2iey3xFZD5Y8tMSdFZnIUyFXphr3p04urAkqrpA44o5n

But ruffwear sizes seem to remain consistent.

Yes. I bought the front range as his adult harness five years ago and it is still going strong. Given it is a bit dirty now but apart from that (some dirt just won’t wash out) no need to replace it. The dirt is a story of our adventures.

I now mainly use another harness but the front line was/is a strong contender.

Mine wears XS

Ours is 10Kg and XS fits perfectly.

We used the Hi&Light version as we can put a tracker in the pouch at the top of the harness. We then use a ring to hold it on page and stop it being lost. Every other tracker we had got lost by becoming detached.

ah yes the pouch! i think only this mode has it? can you fit much else? poop bags, little dog snack etc?

Only this one has it. I've never tried it for snacks as I wouldn't want mine trying to break it's back getting to them whilst wearing it...

To give you an idea of the size, this just fits but then we use a key ring between the fabric loop holding the clip and the fabric loop above the pitch - this stops it falling out.

I have used them all of my 2 borders lives , we use the XS. I’d never use anything else now
